Writing review after using this product for a month Pros: 1) Simple design, adequate capacity for up to 4-5 member family. Works well.Silent operation. 2) Simple to operate, just turn the timer knob as per desired time and recommendations 3) Flexibility of wall mount and floor mount 4) Although company sends installation technician to provide demo and install exhaust shoot, it's very easy to do on your own. But technician, puts warranty remarks on warranty card so leave this installation job to company 5) Did not burn, shrink any clothes cotton or synthetics 6) Long warranty period 7) Due to simplified design, I believe repairs if any should be easy and cheap 8) Machine stops immediately if door is opened in between cycle 9) Thermal cut off is also useful safety feature Cons: 1) Too simple construction. Could benefit by having humidity sensor based operation control to reduce cycle time and reduce cost of operation 2) Mechanical timer based operation and is grossly inaccurate. If I set it to 40 mark, unit almost runs for hour. 3) A lot of lint gets accumulated in filter. Actually it is not clothes lint,. It is lint sucked in from surrounding when unit pulls air inside. There is no air filter I believe at air inlet. It gives apparent feeling that clothes had a lot of lint Other comments: 1) Electricity bill increased by about Rs.400 over a month for daily use for 1-1.5 hours 2) White color is cheaper by Rs.1K 3) After every couple of drying cycles lint filter must be cleaned 4) Marketing badges on unit are reversible for upside down installation on wall 5) Stainless steel drum is of good quality and thickness 6) Machine restarts from where left after power cutoff as timer stops functioning on power cut off 7) Timer knob MUST be operated in clockwise direction only. Update after using about 3 years: 1) I still find it useful product. 2) As long as one does not load the machine with too many clothes than it's capacity, the results are consistent 3) I still feel that there should be accurate timer upgrade and digital control with humidity sensor that company should add to this product. Also, should use BLDC motor and not universal motor they use now. 4) I have already paid amount equivalent to the machine cost in last three years to electricity board. That is cost of convenience one pays in owing any dryer (not just this). 5) Almost every cycle lint filter is needed to be cleaned, feels boring at time but if not done, the machine will not give good results as it blocks air flow, so have to do it anyway. 6) I feel some thin cotton shirts shrunk in size over a period of time. One has to understand that when used in mixed mode or cotton mode, the machine runs heater almost the entire duration of cycle probably that in long term causes shrinkage. 7) Due to overloading of clothes I guess (due to lack of knowledge) drum's spacers were damaged in first year only but later when I started using less load, machine ran flawlessly so far.

I was initially in awe of the working of the product. Compared to the bosch washing machine I had, I did feel the construction of the dryer was a bit too cheap. Just after 2 months of use and maybe 5 or 6 drying cycles the following issues I noticed : a) the timer is a kind of winding timer. If you set it at 120 minutes, it will run by more than 140 minutes. So planning anything according to it doesn't work. b) bigger issue you would notice is big things like bedsheets don't get completely dry specially if you put a full load. It's understandable and after every 3 or 4 uses you will need to clean the lint filter. My biggest grouse since I bought this dryer was its flimsy lock mechanism for the door. The most moving part and it's lock is flimsy. Add to it after using it for maybe 10 drying sessions in last 3 months. The doors frame came undone. On asking they say it's not in warranty. Very unfortunate as it's not a breakage due to rough use but the poor construction quality of the door where the plastic holes that the door frame is sealed on due to the heating temperature gave up. I would call it a manufacturing defect. They will replace the door only if I pay 1200 rupees for it and they will give me the same quality door. So doesn't make sense their highlighted 4 year warranty or crap Escalated this to their manager and they say will give 200 rupees discount. Its such a sad situation on what is their warranty. Might need to go to consumer court for such poor construction and then charging customers for manufacturing defect.

I purchased this dryer in September of 2016, and after nearly seven years of regular use, I thought I'd share my review. I use this dryer at least once a day, and I'm happy to report that I haven't encountered any issues with it. It did take me a little while to figure out the optimal settings for my clothes, but once I did, using the dryer has been a breeze. One of my favorite features is that I can use fabric softeners on my clothes, which leaves them smelling fresh for an extended period of time. Additionally, I haven't experienced any damage to my clothes, except for the occasional shrinkage which is always temporary. The best part, however, is that as soon as the clothes are done drying, I remove them from the dryer and hang them up. As a result, I don't need to iron my clothes as often. Overall, I highly recommend this dryer. For a purchase price of only 20000, this is a steal considering the amazing quality and reliability I've experienced over the last seven years. Your clothes will always smell great, and you'll save time by avoiding ironing. It's a fantastic purchase that every household should consider.

Writing this review after about 1 year of purchasing and using the dryer multiple times. The dryer is good but it can be better! It gets the job done well, the clothes are fresh and iron dry after drying in the machine. However it doesn't take the specified load. It can take only half the load of its specified capacity. It takes time to load the dryer in multiple cycles as a result. Also, the belt broke within 2 months of use as it couldn't take a little more load (even though it was less than the specified capacity) . Customer service is good. IFB team responds well to service requests and complaints. They came immediately for installation, repair, uninstallation and reinstallation on separate occasions.

Great product, quite reasonably priced, works well & serves the purpose. Using for last 1 month & all is fine. No issues so far.
