This is a great book on the horrible Bosnian war and its effect on a neglected town. It is amazing what comics/graphic novels can do. Joe Sacco draws and writes from his experience of visiting Gorazde as a correspondent and produces a work of remarkable importance. I doubt I'd have read a book of prose about this, but now I am aware of something I'd never have been otherwise. As they say, +1 to visual art.

Sacco masterfully transports you to life of ordinary Bosnians during the '93 war. The striking details with which he portrays the story makes you live it. This book changes you - you begin to see patterns in the stories of human atrocities committed during wars.

Amazon packaging of this product is nice.The paper quality is also good. You will find this a satisfactory purchase. I am happy to have another good graphic novel by Joe Sacco.
