They work for general measurements. The 3 scales are a,nice feature. For the price they do the job.. these are not calibrated or for where you need accuracy for 100000 of an inch repeatability through the entire scale. They are durable and should not be dropped. The scale is lockable , easy to use can see display under normal lighting nice storage case

Was amazed at the quality when I opened the box. It is all metal and feels very very solid. Also, it comes with a battery installed and two extra batteries. Easy to read screen and good instructions.

The first one I got would not return to zero after a single measurement. Upon closing the caliper, it would still show -.05 to .05 or worse, requiring me to zero it. EVERY time. That meant I couldn't rely on any of the measurements. I initiated a return and gave them one more chance, allowing them to send a replacement. The second one seems to work just fine, so I'll chalk the first one up to a QC miss. It's just a tad bulker than I would have liked, but the numbers are large, and the fractional inches display option is very handy.

Bigger screen and 2032s should be the standard for calipers nowadays. They measure the same as my mitutoyos that I baby. I can leave these in the shop and not worry about them.
