Instructions for using the product was confusing for me. I communicated about the problem to Amazon representative. The seller called me up personally, providing me with video and instructions for using the product effectively. I must congratulate the seller and Amazon for being so professional and diligent in their work. The detector can even detect cigarette smoke and the noise is very loud. The product is so small that it can be easily fitted anywhere.

it is small thing yet is a powerful product , it sure is worth the money and the detection is fast and smoldering fire , would be odering few more for sure. nice build quality too.

VERY COMPACT, 10 YEAR BATTERY WARRANTY, EASY TO FIX. WORKS WELL WHEN THE TEST BUTTON IS PRESSED. lets see how long does the battery last and how it really work when it really matters- only time will tell. But compared to other smoke alarms, this looks very compact and well built with touch of quality. FINAL IMPRESSION AFTER 8-9 MONTHS: i brought 4-5 of these and out of them atleast two of them have stopped working in the sense, it starts giving false alarms , even after you silence them. So i am not happy that two of the 4-5 i have purchased has malfunctioned. . SO DONT KNOW HOW THEY WILL WORK. Need to talk to the toll free number. AFTER ONE YEAR: after this review i got a call from the vendor offering to check the smoke alarms, so i send all 3 of the faulty ones and after some day, they called me up to inform that they are replacing with fresh ones. SO i have received the new ones, they are working fine, but then need to wait and see how they survive and how much they last. So changing the rating for the time being for good service of the vendor.

After some search I decided to purchase the Smiledrive compact photoelectric smoke sensor. My decision was based on the size, shape, design, 10 year battery life, self test option, stand alone function, realibility in the event of fire. I received the sensor in a nice package delivered before time. First day I was bit confused to test the alarm (you need to press both the red small button on top and the red indicator light at the same time. After installation only the red indicator light) and I thought it's not working and decided to ship it back. Within couple of hours I got a call from the company and they explained me to do some basic checks and its working...i really appreciate this support. Now I installed it 1.its very easy to install using a backplate with screws. To start the sensor you need to connect the sensor to the backplate. This will press a small red button on top and that will power the sensor. Now if you press the red LED, it will give 5 loud beeps. It's loud and sharp enough to hear in a big house. I used double sided tape to fix the sensor to the desired location. It's very light weight. 2. I used real smoke to test it and it's working as expected and explained in the user manual 3. user manual is good for proper installation and maintainance 4. I like the design. It's compact and elegant. 5. The red indicator light flash in a specific time gap, gives you an indication that it's working. Overall I liked the product. The company claim 10 year battery life which need to be time tested and I hope it will last that long. But is always a good idea to test the alarm once in a while. Also planning to buy couple more for my house.

Could not detect LPG flame when placed next to burner. Could not detect milk boiling vapor. Matchstick smoke very late detection. Packaging was good. SmileDrive support available over Toll free, WhatsApp, email. Design looks neat, good & small. The mounting bracket could not be unlocked once turned.

Good product, only sound is not high (Beep buzzer sound)

Used for two months, after two months the product stopped working, the red light keeps in ON state, some times it create a crack sound when red light beeps after 1 minute.

Its quite sensitive, but very accurate... It triggers when there is marginal smoke, even while cooking... Fryin or making chapaties... It's small may be 3-4 cube.and weighsv ~ 100gm . You can install it by two side sticky tape
