In love with this TCL tablets
Great size and resolution. Working perfectly for reading books using reading modes, color and B&W and google books app, pdf readers, etc. Modes are great. I bough 1 tablet for my wife too because she was in love with the 14" size, and now she is playing games, and seing netflix, and very happy. Battery life is ok, quality is perfect, easy to setup, 4 speakers (nomal sound, not a super quality sound but like my ipad pro), connectivity is fast for wifi and bt.

It is as great as the reviews demonstrate.
This is an amazing product. I am not going to get into all the details that this can do since you can read them all yourself on the many articles and videos written about it on line. The price is remarkable compared to others out there. I use it as a musician who plays in a community concert band and orchestra. The screen size (14.3) is as good as regular sheet music size!! Big plus and....it's android. The screen is a matte finish to reduce glare from inside lights and is viewable outdoors. This is great for those of you who don't want to take out a mortgage to buy an ipad and those who prefer to stay away from snobby proprietary Apple products. The sheet music software that works with this is called Mobile sheets. It does everything you need to run your music programs with great flexibility and the app is only $15. Fourscore does not work with an android product, but this software gives Fourscore a run for its money. I did buy an Anker Nano 100W USB-C Charger because charging this can take a very long time unless you use a faster charger. After a two hour rehearsal session, it only drops to about 85%. It works well with Blu tooth pedal page turners.

Perfect for reading e-books.
Really great Android tablet. Best size for reading e-books. Fantastic display. Comes with stand and rechargeable pen. Probably great for drawing but I am not an artist, just an old man who needs a large screen to read. Cons: Speaker sound tolerable but not great, no keyboard, no slot for micro SD card, no earphone jack (needed as antenna for radio app). Must use bluetooth devices.

Ridiculously nice
There is no reason why any tablet at this price point should be this nice. Metal construction, paper like finish with no glare, 14.3 in screen, not heavy and incredibly sleek to look at. Even comes with the top-notch cover. I got it on sale for 333 almost exactly. Even at 4:50, I would recommend this to anyone without hesitation. But if you can wait for them to get Mark down again for half a day or so, keep an eye on this one if you're in the market for a tablet. This is my third or fourth tablet, and I always thought the other ones were pretty good. I was wrong. They were almost good, and this one is just outstanding. Tcl should give me a couple of bucks for saying that, lol. Just an outstanding device and I couldn't be happier with it, doubly so because I got it at what I consider to be a very decent price.

The giant
This is my first tablet in over a decade. I never owned an Android tablet. If one word can sum up this tablet then that is BIG. Honestly, it's the size of a closed laptop, near its weight too I mainly bought it for viewing documents, reading, and annotating on MS onenote, you never have to worry about wasting paper. The e-ink style color mode is a nice feature and unique maybe won't replace your Kindle or other true e-ink but it is close enough. I tried to draw but forgot how feature rich some of these apps are so I'd say it's good for basic drawing with Autodesk. Or maybe I need to be better at drawing on tablets. Not much bloat apps. Lots of Google apps if you need them. I don't use it for everything Google or streaming videos so many of these apps are not for me I dont play games so can't say anything about those features. Stylus pen is good, although it's easy to forget to press the button every time turns it on. Also, based on grip you'll keep pressing the button often. Battery on pen can last close to a week if used sometimes. Tablet battery is also lengthy, it lasts a week or littler over a week then can start to drop to under 20%. But again, mine I turn off WiFi and leave airplane mode on. This could be placebo but I do it anyway. There is a built in "eye care" feature that can annoy you. Every 20 minutes it tells you to take a screen break, this break last 20 seconds. Kind of annoying but you can turn it off. I think it is good but it can happen when your writing and it throws me off my concentration haha. **Just note privacy wise: microphone is always on!* There are no ways to disable this.** I really like this tablet although I'm uncertain how long they will support it with updates. Security updates for only 3 years is guaranteed. Overall a fantastic entry for huge tablet for anyone in the market for a reader.

Good but far from perfect
I thought the battery would last a lot longer in paper modes, but I think it just makes it a little easier on the eyes but does't save any battery like other e-paper displays that last much longer. The matte screen is pretty cool, while not as bright as some other tablets, it's sufficient... The size is pretty awesome, it's bigger than the biggest Apple iPad I think. Pen could be better, but again it's sufficient, doesn't actually come with any note taking software pre-installed, and has to be purchased, unlike Samsung or Apple tablets. Also, the cover is not magnetic, so it often slips for me, but better than not having one... Kinda wish the cover also had a keyboard like many others. I actually thought about returning it mostly becuase I hoped it would be more like e-ink with very long battery life, but I decided to keep it pretty much only because I like the screen size and it's not too expensive of a tablet.
