Not a1950s rehash… Perfectly Designed.
This clock is small in size, but makes a very big statement. It is as quiet as a mouse. I thought with the black background that I wouldn’t be able to see the clock hands. Not true. The gold hands pick up light and reflect outward for easy reading. The design of the clock is timeless. No way does it look like a 50s retro rehash.

Cheaply made
This is indeed a cute alarm clock; however, it is not worth the large price tag. At all. The entire body, including the face, is plastic.

Cool, quiet, retro clock
I love the numbers font, that’s what drew me to this. I like the retro style of it. I put a battery in and it worked right away. No ticking noises and it is very quiet. Would recommend!

Nice stylish clock that works well
This was a gift but the recipient reports being delighted with the ease of use, brightness and time retention. It’s very stylish on her mantel too.

Why a 4 star review ? Materials are not up to expectations. Could have imitated retro materials, then FABULOUS! Clock price should deliver superior materials. I’ll keep it anyway, love the look.

It's a Completely Silent Clock!
Very happy with the design and the operation of this clock. It is completely silent. By that I mean, unless your ear is pressed up against the dial, then and only then would you hear a sIight whirring noise. Who does that? I don't know what they mean by saying "if your hearing is particularly sensitive in a completely silent room you may hear a very quiet whirring" Nonsense. You would have to be a canine to hear the mechanism from any distance. My hearing is pretty good and I am a light sleeper.

Loved the design and colour but for a film fan the silent aspect is really really quiet and really really good. Accurate time keeping un style!!
