These are so easy to fit and set up. I have done a few and have not needed instructions. Just remember to use the button on the relay to put it into pairing mode and that's it

Not sure why other people are having issues, took me less than 10 minutes to install via the app, and after reading the instructions i installed the valve on my radiator with no issues. I would suggest you read the instructions first before starting the overall installation process. Works perfect no issues and now i can control the heating in every room in my house.

I would give it 5 stars if the instructions were better (and honest!). Installing the radiator value was a little problematic. I added the adaptor to my radiator with no issues but when I tried to screw the value onto the adaptor, at the limit of my strength it still wasn't on properly and this resulted in the mechanism not marrying up to the radiator properly. The only way I could get it properly fixed was to use a wretch. A few good grabs and twists and it's on but alas a bit scratched up as a result. It did some strange things when I first installed it and I wasn't convinced it was working but then it showed the temperature and about 20 minutes later appeared in my Homekit. It took about 3 days before I could actually see it on the front page of the Netatmo app though. The only thing that seems amiss is the ability to individually control temperatures, My expection is: - Room 1 and Room 2 both have a valve and we also have a Netatmo thermostat in a 3rd room which ultimately turns the boiler on and off - If I set Room 1's valve to a higher temperature than the room currently is the thermostat shows the requested temperature target and fires the boiler (expected behavior) - What also happens is Room 2's valve also shows the new temperature target so presumably opens the rad to allow the hot water in - If I want to set Room 2 to 16 degrees and Room 3 to 20 degrees I would expect the boiler to heat until Room 3 reaches the 20 degree target but I would expect Room 2 to close the valve and prevent any further heating once it hit 16 degrees. This doesn't happen and it sort of defeats the purpose. I'll keep an eye on it but it's not working like the promotional video (from over a year ago!) shows

I had new radiators installed and the engineer fitted these as per my request, as I already had the relay fitted. Unfortunately one of the valves started to lose signal with the relay. I contacted Netatmo's customer service and after a very long wait they got back to me. Lots of emails back and forth trying resets and talking about moving the relay closer to the radiator until they accepted it was faulty. The trouble is, my engineer has since shut his amazon account so cannot provide a reciept, so Netatmo will only repair at a cost of 44 Euro and postage to France! so that wouldn't be much cheaper than buying a new one. I cannot contact Amazon without acutally buying the product from them myself so I'm stuck in the middle. Update, all 3 of mine broke completely after the guarantee ran out, probably before any savings were realised.

Here is my email to Netatmo support, plus their eventual reply: Hi, i have been waiting a year for the valves to arrive and i plan to install several. But in trying to install my first radiator valve, I have 3 issues: 1) the valve wont connect to the app. The arrow symbol comes on, but the app never finds it. I have removed and replaced the batteries many times. I have checked the batteries. The valve is about 5 metres from the relay in an immediately adjacent room in an area with good wifi. Now there is a big exclamation mark to the left of the temperature. And now its a straight vertical line on the right and the temperature has disappeared. 2) if i use the manual overide to stimulate the valve to close or open then it does nothing - or whatever it does is so silent that i cant hear it sitting right next to it. Is this because it hasn’t synchronised, or is the whole thing faulty? (Now i cant even try to do manual overide as it has gone into a permanent vertical line on the right - and yes of course i have tried taking batteries out and back in) 2) your valve instructions are so bad, i mean so so bad, that i nearly didn’t bother and sent the whole thing back. This is pathetic. I installed the thermostat with no problem following your excellent instructions, so why oh why have you not even thought for 1 second about the valve instruction book. Do you really think people want the valve without connecting it to the internet/ app? why else is the app and iintegration and connection not mentioned at all in the instructions. The instructions “test” doesnt even test wether the valve controls properly the plunger or not! - the most fundamental function of it works. The instructions dont tell you to expect the wifi arrow stmbol instead of the temperature...... i despair at the idiocy. Please help. 12 days later the reply: Hello, Thank you for contacting netatmo support. I've just checked and your Valve is well connected to our server as the Thermostats. Ho installato la valvola intelligente Netatmo su tutti i miei termosifoni e sono davvero entusiasta del risultato! Questo prodotto ha rivoluzionato il modo in cui gestisco il riscaldamento in casa. La possibilità di controllare la temperatura stanza per stanza è incredibile e mi permette di risparmiare energia e ottimizzare il comfort. L'app è intuitiva e facile da usare, consentendomi di programmare e monitorare il riscaldamento anche quando non sono in casa. Inoltre, la valvola si integra perfettamente con il mio sistema di smart home, rendendo tutto ancora più semplice. La qualità del prodotto è eccellente e non ho riscontrato alcun problema finora. Estoy contento con la compra, en mi caso he comprado el termostato y 6 válvulas, he dejado un radiador (el del baño) sin válvula porque al parecer no puedes tenerlos todos cerrados (y porque la instalación en ese radiador era un lío), he configurado en la app la opción confort para que las válvulas comanden sobre el termostato, hay que estudiarse un poco los horarios de casa para hacer un buen programa y siempre va bien tener el programa "no cole" ya que ese día tienes a los críos en casa y les calientas la habitación. Hacen un poco de ruido las válvulas al abrir y cerrar pero es un momento y totalmente soportable. El problema que me encuentro ahora (en mi instalación no tenía válvulas termostáticas) es que al ir cerrándose varias (muchas veces solo tengo abierta la del comedor) los radiadores hacen mucho ruido y parece que esto se debe a que provoca subida de presión en el sistema, se puede solucionar con una válvula de presión diferencial que regula la presión del sistema pasando agua de la ida al retorno (disculpad que no soy experto y quizás digo algo incorrecto). La instalación del termostato es fácil pero supone abrir la caldera con lo que cuidado, siempre es recomendable acudir a un profesional. La instalación de las válvulas muy fácil si en la actualidad ya tienes algún tipo de válvula termostática y por tanto no vas a tener problemas de presión que comentaba antes. En mi caso no tenía ni siquiera válvulas termostatizables con lo que tuvimos que hacer un poco de trabajo dessoldando las válvulas normales que tenía para instalar termostatizables y luego ya instalar las netatmo, en mi caso incluso tuvimos que cambiar el adaptador de las válvulas porque la instalación era muy vieja, por suerte mi padre es un manitas de otro mundo y sabe de todo, pero os recomiendo que si tenéis que hacer cambios en instalación y no tenéis la suerte de tener un padre como el mío acudáis a un profesional, en serio. A nivel de ahorro no os lo puedo decir hasta septiembre porque tengo contratado el plan de pagos fijos con Naturgy y hasta ese mes no se renueva, y tampoco estoy haciendo seguimiento de los m3 consumidos. La detección de ventana abierta de las válvulas funciona bien, la he comprobado pero no seguido mucho.+o. La app muy buena y yo ya lo he conectado con Alexa, un poco de lío con los nombres en alexa porque también tengo las luces. Para el termostato recordad que solo funciona con wifi a 2.4 Ghz y que para emparejarlo debéis tener el móvil conectado a la misma red wifi, sino no "se ven", esto os ahorrará muchos cabreos.

El producto me pareció bien fabricado para el precio que tiene. Lo compré para añadir un control indivudual a una de las habitaciones puesto que ya tenía el termostato. Me resultó muy sencillo de instalar y programar. EDITO EL 12/11/21: El único pero que le pongo es que en los ajustes de este dispositivo no permite habilitarlo para que ponga en marcha la caldera. Es decir, a mi me gustaría un control muy personalizado o lo que es lo mismo que tenga alguna opción más dependiendo de lo que necesite algún usuario que sepa de lo que habla. Lo que yo quería conseguir era controlar independientemente de verdad la temperatura de 2 habitaciones. Por lo que pensé que para esto podría conseguirlo con el termostato y una válvula de radiador. SI SE PUEDE HACER. Despues de una consulta a soporte me indicaron que la aplicación tiene dos modos de funcionamiento, uno ECO en el cyal la caldera está comandada por el termostato únicamente y otro CONFORT en el cual la caldera es comandada indistintamente por el termostato o la válvula de radiador. Por lo tanto EXCELENTE PRODUCTO y cumple absolutamente con mis expectativas. Lo que hay que mejorar es el refresco de las gráficas de temperatura, es muy lento y a veces pasan varias horas sin datos nuevos en dichas gráficas u no se cómo mejorarlo.

Esta válvula complementa el Termostato de la misma marca, permitiendo tener un mayor control del consumo de la caldera. Primero conviene tener claro que una válvula termostática convencional se limita a regular el caudal de agua que pasa por el radiador. Por lo tanto, dependiendo del tamaño del radiador y de la habitación en la que se encuentra, la temperatura que alcanzaras en una habitación variará para la misma posición de la válvula. Con esta válvula inteligente se ganan varias cosas. La primera y más obvia es que al incorporar una medición de temperatura, lo que se fija es la temperatura de la pieza y no la posición de la válvula. La segunda es que lo puedes hacer en cada pieza de tu casa que cuente con un radiador con la válvula, ya que tras la última actualización del software, aunque se haya alcanzado la temperatura fijada en la pieza donde termostato, la caldera seguirá encendida para alimentar las piezas que aún no estén. Por lo tanto, pueden programar 20 grados en el salón, 16 en la cocina, 22 en la habitación de los niños, al mismo tiempo.... Y con un control desde el móvil. Para sacarle "todo el jugo", lo suyo es tener todos los radiadores con este dispositivo, hasta los que están en la misma pieza que el termostato principal. Al final, el ahorro que consigues se debe a que el caudal de agua que pasa por cada radiador es el necesario para mantener la temperatura fijada en cada parte de la casa. La inversión es obviamente importante, y sin contar los baños y la cocina, necesitarás almenos de 4-5 válvulas más el termostato para una viviendo con dos habitaciones .... casi nada 500 €. Leí en varios foros que la inversión se recupera en 3-4 años, pero supongo que depende de muchos factores. Yo puede decir que hasta le fecha, mi factura de gas bajó en un 17% con un invierno más duro que el año pasado. Si te lo puedes permitir, además del ahora que se supone, lo que ganarás es comodidad, tanto por la temperatura ambiental, como el manejo y control de la calefacción

Tengo instalado en mi casa un termostato Netatmo con 5 válvulas termostáticas wifi en los radiadores. Al principio (y aunque me dio problemas de instalación) funcionaban muy bien, pero en menos de dos años han comenzado a estropearse las pantallas de las válvulas y del termostato, ¡Increible que un producto tan caro dure tan poco!!. Compre el mismo termostato a 2 hermanas y a un amigo, y 2 de ellos ya no les funciona el LCD, y a otro los botones del termostato no les funcionan. Encima el servicio técnico es desde Francia, y después de pasarlas canutas para intentar contactar con ellos (no había telefono) cuando les dijimos lo sucedido se lavaron las manos y dijeron que ya no estaba en garantia. Cuando esta claro que es un defecto generalizado de fábrica. Hacedme caso, probad con otras marcas porque esta dura poco y no responde ante problemas.
