5,000 Awesome Facts (About Everything!)

The book is really informative and my kid loved it to read. Even he wants to carry it to our trip and to park also. This review is written by the words of my six year old son Dhruv.

At 375 INR it's a go grab deal I agree the print is not big but hey 5000 facts are fitted well enough. All in all its definitely a good buy at this price plus the content👍🏻 Also it is printed in 2020 yet it mentions Vladimir Putin as Prime Minister of Russia (pg 121) while he is the President of the same. Some more mistakes might be there but still its a good buy.

The book has interesting facts. I think it's meant for ages 13 and upward given the below observations. The layout varies from 30% text 70% visuals to 85% text 15% visuals. It gets very text heavy on many pages. The font size also is on the smaller side. Hence, may not make as interesting a read to younger children. The paper quality is not bad. Given the pages it has, it's already heavy enough so I guess the gsm used is fair. Considering the density of information, it's the kind of books that you will keep on your bookshelf for many years before reading it end to end. All in all, not a bad book a curious mind.

Content wise it's really great purchase. Not only for kids but for adults too. However the book was torn when delivered. We didn't return as it was manageable. Not worth the money.

Another masterpiece from Nat Geo packed with 5000 awesome facts with brilliant photos. A large hardback volume is gorgeous and keeps the kids engaged. The facts are, as you can see using Look Inside" feature, are mentioned in small sentences and with photos of almost all facts. This keeps the attention of the kids focused and they progress easily and with enthusiasm. Must for all curious kids...

I bought this book for my niece's 7th birthday. I was slightly concerned on arrival that it would be too old for my niece (although her reading age is very advanced) but she was thrilled with the present and is already absorbing and repeating many of the interesting facts. I intended this to be a book that she dips in and out of rather than reads from cover to cover and this is indeed perfect for this type of reading. Each page is absolutely packed with relevant facts and pictures and I am sure that she will be reading this on and off for the next 5 years at least. Really happy with my choice and my niece was thrilled. Great value for money I think. (One point to note maybe is that it is a very big and heavy book. Maybe not suitable for taking on holidays or on trips, and maybe even a bit heavy for younger readers to read on their laps or in bed.)

Good read

Estoy muy contenta con la compra, por el precio me parece genial porque son 5000 datos, (5000!), entonces tiene muchísimos datos nuevos que aún no sabemos! No solo para los niños, sirve para los adultos tambien por supuesto. Lo recomiendo a todos quienes tienen el interés de aprender y saber de cosas del mundo, de temas diferentes.

One of the nicest book I saw recently. Glossy paper, beautifully edited and photos are fantastic. Very interesting reading.
