Flimsy, but perfectly satisfactory for seed germination for one year at least. Pity it cannot be put into the compost after use.

Excellent seed trays, very sturdy, ideal for seed

Good size individual pods for sewing seeds. Trays not at strong as some seed trays, but good value for money and have a clear lid and secondary drip tray which is a bonus.

Set of three seed trays, each tray separated into small compartments big enough for 1-3 seeds if planting herbs etc. 40 seed compartments per tray so 120 compartments in this pack of three. Managed to plant all my herb seeds in these. Compact although made of plastic so be careful when lifting a full tray. Clear plastic lids for each separate tray. These are great for any gardener who doesn’t want to spend huge sums of money to start off their seedlings. I was happy with this purchase.

Disappointed with how flimsy they are won’t be buying again as won’t last very long!

Do exactly as expected

Each tray has 40 cells and I've filled all three of them. The seeds have had no trouble growing even when stacked on top of each other on my windowsill. They are fun to transplant as they generally can just be pulled from the stalks to get out the entire cell as a cube of soil. You get a couple that the roots grow through the hole in the bottom of the top plastic layer but they can be pushed out from the bottom of the tray. The tray is still strong enough to be reused after this so I can see myself getting a least a couple of years use of these propagators.

These are a decent thickness of plastic - you can pick them up and move them by holding one end and they don' collapse on themselves. They stack and the lids sit on them well enough. Only downside is that they are very small cells, so they are only good for germinating - you need to move them out quite quickly so I do prefer trays with bigger cells, even if your get a few less.
