ADJ Products VF1100 Fog Machine

This is my second purchase of this fog machine and, coupled with quality fog juice (think Froggy's Fog) it will outperform for you. I do highly recommend the optional timer control (sold separately) but the included wireless remote works superbly as well. One wireless remote will trigger any other units within range, so know that. I use these outdoors at Halloween and, under the right wind conditions, one of these units is capable of fogging half the neighborhood (oops!). Quick heat up and can almost continuously make fog - very brief gaps to reheat. Again, I use these outdoors but covered and they work in a wide temperature range, just don't let them freeze. As far as maintenance, I do have some cleaner but last Halloween I decided to just drain the unit until it fogs no more then pack it up. There was some fluid left in the machine and the hoses. One year later, unpacked, filled and fired right up with no issues. This may have to do with the quality of the fluid used, I don't know. Definitely a solid unit and much better than the lower powered units you find at Halloween stores or elsewhere. It is worth it to buy quality equipment and this machine does not disappoint. Recommended.

Purchased online after seeing the good reviews. This fog machine worked very well and didn't burn up fog juice like others do. Used it for my halloween set up and highly recommend it.

Bought this for halloween and ran it for several hours, went through one tank of fog liquid within a couple hours. Once the element is heated up, just press the button and it will just keep going. Pros: decent size, not too big at all. Will continuously fog once the element is heated up which is great. Element heats up quick as well. I have used this with Froggys Bog Fog, and Froggys Backwood Bay fog juice. It works great. Cons: It comes with a remote that really doesnt have that great of a reach. It has so many buttons on it which is pointless because only the #1 button works. The other con is you have to continuously hold the button for it to work . I wish I could just press the button and have it run for a preset amount of time. Overall, for the price its a great piece.

Outstanding machine, pumps out the amount of smoke to cover my graveyard.

Filled it full of high quality fog liquid and the machine did well for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes it sounds super loud like the pump is going out and no fog is being produced. Going to return it and go back to the $39 one season throw away units.

This fog machine was better than I thought it would be. The remote worked really well. We placed the machine outside in our graveyard scene. Used the remote from inside the house. Each time a trick or treated came up the sidewalk and was near the graveyard, we pressed the number 1 button. The fog came out and engulfed the entire scene. The kids and their parents were very impressed with it. Was a big hit!

I bought this fogger based on the fact that it was a 1000 watt fogger,so the description on Amazon says,it came early which was a surprise,but the shipping box was damaged,and as you can see in the pics,so was the machine,its just cosmetic as far as I can tell,the unit actually works really good,my biggest problem with it is the fact that it is not a 1000 watt machine,but 850 watt,as you can also see from the pics,it says 850 watt in multiple places on the package,and on the bottom of the unit,I would have been much happier knowing it was 850 watts,and paying 10 dollars less,then thinking I was getting 1000 watts and not!! Because if that,I will not recomend....

3 Day review - will update down the road. While it is called the "1100" I was aware this was an 850W unit, but even then, this thing packs a punch for it's size and price. Used with Froggy's Swamp Juice, this will fog a room or stage relatively quickly. I got this for ambiance in a music video I'm filming and it hazed and filled an 18x50 studio space in a solid 2 minutes easily. Well worth the money. Longevity only given 3 stars because I've only had it for a few days, will update down the road with updates.

I replaced a two inexpensive fog machines with this one and couldn’t be happier. The warm-up is incredibly fast and it produces copious amounts of fog as well as a greater distance of coverage. I use this primarily for youth Dances in our church hall. The first time we used it and produced so much fog we ended up setting off the alarms and the fire department came, thank goodness they saw the humour in it!

If you are not physically pressing the trigger it won't generate fog. This device does not have a timed option (example: generate fog every 5,10,15min) or a continuous run. As soon as you release the button it stops. Due to this, you will need to be over-seeing the operation, constant supervision, if you want to generate fog consistently. Disappointing

The wireless remote worked well, the optional timer would have made things easier but other than that the fog produced was exactly what was needed.
