This is a great razor that is manufactured by Wilkinson Sword and accepts their cartridges, so if you don't want to buy the expensive 7 blade cartridges you can use Wilkinson 3/5 cartridges.

I bought this razor because I liked the tortoise shell handle, being a bit of a retro fan. Didn’t really think much about function. I’ve been shaving for 75 years, I’ve tried just about every model. This razor gives me the easiest, smoothest shave I can remember - and I like the handle!

Decidedly underwhelmed. Very plasticky Decent shave but reading the blurb, I somehow expected more. No better than Bulldog, Wilkinson, Gillette.

Hubby is the most awkward man to get a decent blade I’ve tried purchasing most brands also electric & battery But he’s never found one that he likes or he can’t get replacement blades always something wrong But I’ve not heard a word of complain with this item he’s a happy chap so happy me I hope it lasts that’s all I can hope for ?

I've had my Cremo razor almost a month, and during that time I've compared it to my Mach 3 and my Harry's razors. The Cremo wins by far. They advertise it as giving you a barbershop quality shave and that is exactly what it does. It shaves very close but at the same time very smoith and comfortable without any drag. I think the pools of Cremo shave cream embedded into the lube strip are what makes the difference. It's a good weight and you don't have to go over areas a lot to get it closer. The tortoise shell handle adds a nice vintage look. I highly recommend it.

I typically like safety razors because they are cheap and cut well. However, I prefer to use cartridge razors because they are easier to use. My problem with cartridge razors is that I find they pull my facial hair just as before they cut it. This makes them uncomfortable to use and I have to do a lop of prep to make sure my facial hair is sufficiently soft and ready to be shaved. This razor, for me at least, is the best cartridge razor I have used and I use it more frequently than my safety razor. I can quickly shave my face with minimal prep and it doesnt pull my beard. In fact, its so gentle that I have stopped using alcohol-based aftershaves because I no longer need them to dull the burn after a shave. I get a really fantastic shave with just one pass and I can even shave against the grain without getting ingrown hairs. I've tried many different cartridge razors including all the gimicky ones from gillette. The Cremo razor is the best cartridge razor I have ever owned and I highly recommend it.

En premier lieu, c'est le plaisir d'avoir un bel objet entre les mains. Il a de l'allure et le poids et un peu plus important que les rasoirs de grande distribution. Le système de changement de l'âme est très rapide, et la tête est un mobile. Rien a dire niveau coupe, 5 lames, je n'ai rien senti lors de son passage il glisse tout seul. Plutôt sympa d'avoir aussi une lame de rechange. Le manche se démonte en plusieurs pièces, mais je ne pense pas que ça soit conçu pour être personnalisé. En tout cas pour se faire plaisir ou pour un petit cadeau, il vaut le coup.
