ESV Journaling Bible

The ESV Journaling Bible, Interleaved edition is perfect for anyone who writes copious notes, or who wants to sketch in their Bible. It contains the full text of the ESV Bible, and had a blank page inserted next to each page of Scripture. The margins around the text are also wide enough to add notes, so there is plenty of room to write. The bindings on all editions are good quality. The print is 7.5 font, which is small. This really, is my only criticism. Perhaps a 9 or 9.5 font could be introduced, as with the ESV Journaling Bible with wide margins? Other than that, I have no issue with this Bible, and highly recommend it!

Bit disappointed the blank pages didn't have lines on them but...decent enough. Would be ideal to make an A4 sized version suited for carrying in folders or breifcases, just think it may allow for slightly bigger typeface whiles narrowing the width, which will put a lot less stress on the binding as the years go on, and also means more room for notes! Pleased nonetheless, it's definitely attractive (although I think I ought to be weary of idolizing the appearance of a bible...yes that can be a thing!) and though the typeface is small, the design of the serif makes it very legible even at point 7. If they made an interleaved version of the readers bible edition, that would be unbeatable (please can a crossway bibles rep read this and consider this!!!)

Excellent quality. Binding is very good and should last for years. The blank pages are ideal for personal notes. Good conservative translation.

As I say in title. A lifetime of notepaper opposite each page of scripture. Nice enough Bible for the price. Decent thickness of paper. Worth it to write homily ideas etc or sermon notes. No lines on paper. Small font size of text only snag and it's a big Bible: but the plus is the sheet space to take notes in. Apparently Jonathan Edwards made a Bible like this. So in good company!

Since buying it for my wife, she has used it every day.

The only problem with this bible is that the print size is tiny. It has to be to prevent the volume being enormous but it is very hard to read.

Es pesada ya que trae el doble de hojas por qué una es en blanco para hacer notas yo en mi caso hago Bible Journaling. No me gustó que viniera un poco maltratada pero bueno no era algo de sumo cuidado. Es hermosa!

Finally - a journaling bible with more than just a two inch margin to write in! This bible is quite heavy, but it's to be expected since there's twice as many pages! It's perfect for its intended use, which is to journal in the opposite pages! The page quality is Higher than most bibles, which is great - I have found that markers have minimal to no bleed through!

I'm a bit disappointed because I thought that it was an interleaved bible edition after viewing the images in the commentary section and the commentators review. It is really misleading due to the fact that 3 different bibles have the same commentary section. A separation must be provided for different products.

Something tells me this edition will not last for long, so if you love taking notes in the Bible, or Bible journaling, I would say go for it immediately. This can be the perfect Biblical legacy you leave for your kids or your grand kids. The construction quality of this Bible is top notch, and while the print is on the smaller side, that was necessary to give a full empty space per Bible page AND keep this a one volume Bible.

I just received this bible today and it's exactly what I have been looking for. This bible comes with full blank pages, or every other page is blank on both sides. So that you can journal without drawing or writing over the scriptures,plus it comes with a tan ribbon marker to help you keep track of where you left off.Which definitely will come in handy with such a thick book, like this one. With the added blank pages the book is heavier than the average bible but all in all it's not a deal breaker for me. So if you want one to travel with, I might go with something a little different due to it's sheer size and weight. I think this particular bible is best left at home. The pages themselves are a light cream color and feel a bit thicker than other bible pages I've felt. Which is nice because I don't feel like I have to be overly cautious when turning the page. I also noticed that the book cover that it comes inside of is a lot sturdier than others I have gotten in the past. I've gotten some where the cover/ box that the book is in was damaged so badly that the bible itself was damaged as well. This however has no damage at all. As for the font, it is relatively small but it's easy for me to read and I wear reading glasses, so I guess make of that what you will. I would definitely recommend this bible to a friend.
