Roller Derby Blazer Boy's Lighted Wheel Roller Skate

One thing that can be said is that these skates are extremely attractive. I bought a pair for my 5 year old and he just refuses to take them off and everyone loves themIt's early days still and I paid special attention to other reviews so I ensure that i keep the velcro strap always closed and away from the laces so they don't get fuzzed out.I should be going to the rink every weekend for the next month at least so the will be doing some work.Will change my rating to 5 stars if they stand up.So far a good beginner skate, there is nothing I dislike thus far and I would recommend them.

I bought these for my son's 8th birthday skate party. Was a huge hit at the rink with his light up wheels. He absolutely loved how bright they were and they really did look awesome!! The size runs big (I thought) I bought a 4 hoping he could grow into them but they were a little too big so we had to stuff his sweatpants into the top and strap them really tight in order for him to use them, so I wished I would have bought a 3 (which is the shoe size he is in now). Overall I highly recommend these. I wish I could wear them myself when we go skating with him lol!! :)

I'm so glad I purchased these skates over all the other ones I researched. My son is a newbie roller skater; however, the wheels roll quick enough to not frustrate him and slow enough to not discourage him. The lights are bright and fun. Fit is true to size (my son is a size 1, but I bought him a 2 for growth). He skates in them for 2 1/2 hours at a time with no complaints. I was worried about ankle support, but these are tall enough to fully support his ankles. We do have to be careful not to let the shoe strings get caught in the Velcro - it rips them to shreds.

These are great skates and my 5 year old loves them. He says that they are pretty fast and comfortable. The light up wheels are red/blue close up. However, when hes in the skating rink the wheels look pink/purplish and blue. My 5 year old didnt notice but immediately, my oldest son said that the wheels look like girl skates. (Of course I dared him to say anything to ruin his fun:-)That would be my only complaint. It would be nice if it were an all blue light up or something of that nature but the mixture of colors make them look pinkish purplish from a distance.

The wheels are tight. When we try loosen the lights are not working. It is fine for starting.

Skates arrived super fast and sizing was spot on. My 5 year old son thought they looked pretty cool and when he saw the wheels light up he was blown away! ' However bear in mind if your child is an experienced skater as mine was/ is the bushings that makes the wheels light up will also cause them to not roll as freely. I lubed the bearings up and it helped a bit but I'll be putting reg wheels w/ reds bearings as soon as he's over the light up wheels. For a newbie they'll never know the difference though. Good skate for the money.

I purchased these for my 5 year old grandson. He stakes at a rink about once per month during the winter. The skates held up pretty good but the lights stopped working shortly after about 3 uses. I was very displeased as these skates cost more because of the lights in the wheels. Also the lights are only on the outside of the 2 wheels on the exterior wheels but don't last very long. Not worth the extra money.

Skates were delivered fast and my son loved them. I ordered him a size larger than what he normally wears since this skate does seem to run small. He has been having these skates for about a year now and they are still in good shape. He goes skating every weekend at the skating rink and he also uses them outdoors and they held up great! Would definitely recommend to others.
