The SM58 is the most universal, ubiquitous, visible microphone because it's made to produce vocal sounds (musical or spoken) with faithfulness to the source while projecting that source sound at the highest amplitude without distortion. Moreover, the mic is made to stand up under the most rough-and-tumble physical abuse every week for many years on end (I've seen SM58's that are not only scarred by charred by fire--yet they're performing as though new out of the box). But that's not the sort of mic you would connect to a computer for recording, processing and editing. The Shure58 is a "dynamic" mic. Recording professionals favor the more delicate "condenser" microphone, such as the ATT2020 or the Blue Yeti--both adaptable to USB connectivity.

How long is the cable that I can get with this mic?

When I ordered this mic it didn't come with a cable, as I expected. That's how it was advertised - mic only. I knew it was a decent mic because I've owned Shure mics in the past and it is a very reputable company who makes reliable products. If you want a cheap (but good) alternative, check musiciansfriend.com I got a bunch of mics with cables and stands for $20 each and I honestly can't tell the difference in sound quality between those and my $65 Shure mic.

Can i use this to connect xvive u3 wireless system?

Yes the wireless xvive u3 will work with this microphone cause the microphone is xlr and the xvive u3 is xlr and you just need to plug them into your mic and device

What amplifier or mixer [ $20- $50 ] should i buy which is compatible with sm58 ? need suggestion

I’ve been using mics of all types, including this one (SM58LC, which is a DYNAMIC MIC) for more than 20 years, both in live on-stage and various recording situations. I currently own 3 that are used by the 3 Vocalists in my performing band thru a mixing board, then out to the PA at shows...or when connected directly to our digital system for recording, and have NEVER USED OR NEEDED ‘phantom power’. My equipment does have it available, but only have to switch it on when using CONDENSER MICS. These do require a source of power because their internal capacitor needs it. So not sure why anyone would say that you do, but that is incorrect.
