James Cameron's King-of-the-World saga Titanic is one of the highest-grossing movies of all time. This film is written and directed by James Cameron with Leonardo DiCaprio (Jack Dawson), Kate Winslet (Rose DeWitt Bukater) and Gloria Stuart (Rose Dawson Calvert) in lead roles. It is perceived as one of the best romantic movies of its time and the fact that it is based on a historical event makes it intense and a sensitive piece of work by Cameron. With a budget of $200 million and a shooting schedule that ran for 160 days, it is one of the biggest and most expensive movies made in late 1990's.The story revolves around the life of young Rose played by Kate Winslet who is engaged for marriage to a rich man by her mother to solve their financial problems. She on the other hand is not willing to get married but has to do so. Rose is a feminist and wants to enjoy life which she finds it impossible because of the class and manners they have to portray as they belong to an upper-class family. Jack played by Leonardo DiCaprio is a small-town boy with big ambitions and who wants to explore the world in his own ways. He gambles his way to the ship of Titanic to reach New York. This is where the lead characters meet in an unusual circumstance where emotionally-damaged rose was about to jump into the ocean and end her monotonous life loaded with fake pride. Jack saves Rose's life and both of them fall in love with each other. There are many differences between them as Rose is rich beautiful and jack is a poor artist. Rose is about to get married but their love for each other is true. Their ship Titanic meets an accident because of hitting to an iceberg and all those who have boarded Titanic are in grave danger. It's amazing to see how both of them struggle for each other and how the fact that they are in love shapes the story. What will happen to their love story when death is dancing on everyones head marks the crux of the story.Titanic (2012) was released in 2012 by 20th Century Fox in Blu Ray format. It is rated U/A and is available in English. James Horner has created music for this movie.
