HENCKELS Handheld Knife Sharpener

looked for a quality knife sharpener and decided to give this one a try. Glad I did because it does and amazing job sharpening my kitchen knives. Its easy to use and store in drawer Great design and I thought reasonable priced.

Works great with non serated knives. Leaves a great edge that is very noticeable after using. Bought two more for my son and mom.

I bought this as I have a full set of Cutco knives that I have had for 20+ years. They have lifetime free sharpening, which is great for the Double D knives, but now I do not have to send back the straight blade knives to be sharpened. This tool is a great value as it is very sturdy and easy to use. I highly recommend it!

This sharpener will sharpen your dull kitchen knives. It has as course sharpener to use on dull blades and a fine sharpener to put a finish surface on the blade. This is my second one as I wore out the first one and it took several years to do that. It is a little on the large and heavy side but that adds to its' satiability. I think it's great value for the money as one can buy a smaller sharpener for the same money. The smaller ones are not as stable and therefore do not do as nice of a sharpening job. I took a star off because of the large size. It needs to be stored somewhere.

This sharpener is easy to use right out of the package. Follow the easy instructions and sharpen your knives with ease. There is a coarse side and fine side. You run your knife first thru the coarse side then the fine side. It’s intuitive which way to lay your knife against the sharpener. I’m glad I purchased it because it’s easier than using one of those chefs sharpeners. It has good grip handle also.

I needed a blade sharpener, I sharpened all my knife’s and yes Christmas dinner and cut fingers, works like the should as new. I did not fully understand my blades were that dull. Even soft foods cut through easily now. I glad I did buy this. Sharpener, otherwise I would had to break out my chain saw again.

An essential product for new homeowners. Purchased as a gift for my niece and nephew who recently bought new homes. Works wonderfully to keep everyday knifes sharpened.

It works, but it's tough on the knives.

Instructions show coarse blade as far right slot in picture however on sharpener coarse is nearest handle ie. It is the wrong way round
