I have just started to read. Impressed with the author’ s way of presentation. It is mythology yes but told in a very eloquent style . I am so impressed that I have immediately posted this review on a Saturday. Too good, its not just mythology or religion, it is writte in such a style that one pauses to ponder and assimilates the content. I plan to read more of this author.Initially I just stumbled upon this book when I was searching for something else but feel very LUCKY to hv bought it. I recommend you to buy to enhance your knowledge of not only Shanidev and the Navagrahas but also appreciate the innate wisdom the author imparts. Thank you. Beautiful book. Truly therapeutic! I have laughed, I have feared and I have prayed! If destiny allows, I'd love to read it multiple times in my life.

It is my fortune that I came across this book. All those who believe at least a bit in planetary influence on our life, must read this book. It will surely give your life a positive influence, that is my belief. Many of us have already been through sade-sati, many are undergoing that phase, and many will undergo in near future. Those who have experienced this phase, will surely agree and find this book so close to their real experiences during the sade-sati phase.

I was excited for this book so ordered it… i got the book but when started reading it… i noticed difficult words were used to understand… i wish if hindi version is available

Das Buch gefällt mir sehr gut. Jedoch ist es schon speziell. Die Sprache und Art der Erzählweise sind nicht für Jeden etwas und teilweise hatte auch ich Probleme mit der Sprache obwohl mein Englisch sehr gut ist. Trotzdem, für Jeden der schöne Geschichten mag die einen tieferen Sinn verfolgen und für jeden der Jyotish mag kann ich dieses Buch empfehlen

Perhaps like many others who found this book, it appeared in a synchronistic way that made its purchase seem very fated. I gather from having read the book that the author's intention was that it should "find" people who need it, and without meaning to sound too New Age-y, I honestly believe Dr. Svoboda's intention of sharing this story in order to help others manifests itself in a strangely powerful manner. It was interesting and helpful in many ways - part of the book is a quite wise description of what Western (and most other) societies have lost as a result of our loss of core myths, and the end is an excellent and very understandable basic explanation of Indian Vedic traditions. He is an extremely good and concise writer, and also important, comes across as a sympathetic person. As for the actual story that forms the middle of the book, the first time you read it, it might feel a little foreign and flat, filled with confusing genealogies and tales of limbs being cut off and turning into children, various deities' adulteries, kings being cursed by angry planets, that sort of thing. To the Western eye it just doesn't make a lot of sense or seem too compelling, honestly. But as he tries to explain throughout the book - it's not about the words you're reading. It's something deep and esoteric contained within, that can't be accessed with a casual read. If you follow the advice he gives in the section on how to read the book itself and various remedies - even just a bit of it - the stories take on a kind of resonance completely beyond the words themselves. I found in the weeks I was reading it that in fact, I was actually in some abstract way living out the myth, and gained a profound new way to view events ongoing in my life, especially the deeply negative ones. To borrow a word from Heinlein, I 'grok' something about the world that I didn't before, an understanding that goes beyond the intellectual and genuinely transforms the core of your being. I can't stress enough how much synchronicity and weird commonality this book had to my life at the moment and how it appeared, in a totally unrelated search, at the absolute perfect time. Based on my own experiences, I suggest that if you've come across this book in a similar fashion you really ought to consider if it found you on purpose. I know it did for me.

I've been working with Saturn for years without knowing anything about Who He really was, and only in 2018 I opened my eyes to His importance. Since I realized that there are strong similarities between my Spirit Guide (my partner in life) and Lord Saturn, I constantly dedicate myself to Him with tireless devotion. I bought this book in Times of Coronavirus after I had looked for information on Saturn's Return and so I found an extract from the book. Shani's description immediately fascinated me, so I told myself: "I must have this book that is literally calling me!". Everything was extremely liberating and revelatory. I Love Lord Saturn from the depths of my Heart.
