Doctor's Best, Real Krill, Enhanced with DHA & EPA, 60 Softgels

Other reviewers have done a far better product comparison than I could ever do. I find this to be the best balance of money spent with quality received. In fact, all Doctor's Best supplements are like this and it's all I ever buy. What I really like about these particular krill oil supplements is that there is no aftertaste. I have these on Subscribe and Save and will continue to buy as long as I can afford them.

WHAT I LIKE: • The price. It's not cheap but not overpriced like some brands. • The quality. It's consistently high. • The taste. I always chew fish oil and krill oil capsules, to make sure they're fresh (and because I like the taste, when they're fresh). There's no fishy taste. In fact there's really no taste at all. I say I "like" the taste because when oils of this sort go bad, they taste putrid. These taste fine. • The lack of enteric coating. These are not enterically coated -- and there's no reason in the world that they should be. Most enteric coatings are a form of plastic, not good for the body. Enteric coating may make sense for some enzymes, but it certainly doesn't for food products like krill oil which are meant to be digested in a normal fashion. • The sardines, anchovies and other fish oils included in the capsules along with the krill oil raise the level of DHA and EPA.

Both my husband and I take this supplement. It is low on Anasthaxin, but has the best EPA and DHA content I have seen around. I take 1 more from another brand that has more Anasthaxin but is low on EPA and DHA only to make up for the Anasthaxin. I see and feel the difference this product makes in my skin and, mood, and hormones, and overall health. Several friends are already taking this because they see its results with me.

This supplement is part of a few I take to reduce inflammation and hopefully keep the inner pipes clean and flow. I can really feel the positive results as far as reduced bodily aches go and my naturally reduced cholesterol levels seems to indicate it's working inside too. I was taking another brand of krill, but it was far more expensive, so I switched to these. I've taken Doctor's Best for other products and liked them, so this seemed like a good move to switch to. The vital specs of this compare well to the other brand so I expect to gain similar positive results. I won't say this is the "best ever" type of product since it's effective is hard to specifically detect, but seems to me to be a solid choice for what I hope to continue to use and see good results from.
