Strong. Delivered well (note: All magnets are brittle, ignore those reviews)
Amazon would benefit by adding the correct screws to their "Buy these together ~ People also bought". Only complaint is that they're sent without screws, but 5stars because the screws aren't promised or shown in the pictures. I have one holding a hammer, and one holding a pistol. Almost too strong, in a good way. Note: All magnets are brittle. If you don't let these slam into anything hard / release them too far / Screw too tight, then they should last as long as any.

The good news is that they work fine for the purpose
Ok I know I was warned about these being strong but during the unpack aging of the 2 magnets that were separated with a plastic piece, They quickly gloomed on to each other. Well that was it. I could not separate them. I tried but only ended up spraining tendons in my hand. I know I am not the strongest person but wow, let me tell you, it was impossible for me to get them apart and I ended up installing them together. I used them for a knife and fork holder on my metal oven hood as I don't have any place to mount a knife holder. see picture. The good news is that they work fine for the purpose,

Brittle as hell
Was using them and one slip out of my hand... it flew into the other magnet and smashes it into 5 pieces. I know they are strong magnets and thats cool, but i underestimated how brittle they are. I would opt for a disk shape over a bar in the future.

Magnets are crazy strong. Fragile as noted so no complaint (small chip when they "grabbed" each other.) Major issue: pieces are supposed to be attached via recessed holes however the way they are drilled it won't work. The recessed side is the same on each piece so if you attach as you would expect they repel each other. Seems crazy illogical.

Excellent magnets for many applications
Very strong magnets. You must be very careful around rare earth/neodymium magnets. They are so strong that they can injure you by pinching your skin if it gets caught between two that are brought too close together - and the strongest ones (not these) can break your finger if you get it caught between two when they suddenly come together. They are, after all, magnets. They are also quite fragile but knowing that, they are extremely useful in the house and garage for a variety of uses. These are going to go into the garage to hold tools. I buy magnets from CMS Magnetics frequently. They are the best ones I've found. I buy them in all shapes and sizes and have learned that the 'pull' of the magnet is based on the dimensions, as well as the grade of the magnet (this one is N42, a good strong one but not one - in this size - that will break your fingers, although it can pinch the tip of your finger pretty good) and the amount of magnetic properties of what you're trying to 'stick it to'. An N52 magnet of good size can be removed from the front of my refrigerator but will remain on my gun safe till the end of time.

Too powerful for their own good, and fragile.
The magnets are very powerful. So powerful, that it's really difficult to keep them from slamming into each other or other metal. When they do slam into something else they have a tendency to chip and break. So in the end, they weren't any good to me.

Very sturdy magnets, no regrets in purchasing but did not ...
unbelievably strong magnets and depending on your application could be just what you are looking for. My application was to hold a lower cabinet drawer closed that would otherwise open on its own. The magnets, however, were so strong that opening the cabinet drawer once the magnets were attached became a real issue. Very sturdy magnets, no regrets in purchasing but did not work as hoped in my situation.

Arrived broken
Item arrived broken. Well wrapped and packed, so it must have happened at the origin.

very strong magnets but very fragile as I dropped one on kitchen floor and it split into 3 pieces because the countersunk and holes have weakened it structure so don’t drop it ...and always slide off never pull it apart .... otherwise all round good quality
