High quality earphones with involving, exciting sound quality
I wanted to write a more relevant review for these than the others (as they all seem to be from late 2018). These earphones came out in November of last year - so all these reviews stating connectivity issues are just teething issues. You have to remember this is a small company that won't have the testing department of larger ones such as Apple. Now for my thoughts. I've had these a little over a week, I wanted to get rid of wires as they annoy me at work dangling about all the time. I've had Bose in ear headphones for the past year or so, and once these earphones had broken in THEY KNOCK THOSE OUT THE WATER. I'm no expert reviewer, nor an audiophile particularly, but the bass is punchy rather than rumbly (which I like), the mids are clear and involving and the highs are lovely and tactile - perhaps a little sharp with the silicone ear buds (I'd use the foam ones). The build quality is lovely - especially the charger case, the aluminium casing is cold to the touch and the swivel-open mechanism is oddly satisfying. The rest is a matte-soft touch type plastic which feels nice. I'm a product designer so love a simple elegant design. I've had no connectivity issues at all - once these hook up to the phone first time, they auto-connect in about 5 seconds. And I've had no cutouts to music. Battery is good, I needed the best battery possible as I listen throughout the working day - they give about 5 hrs per charge and take about 20 mins to recharge in the box, which suits me fine. So to be honest if you're looking for wireless earbuds and aren't a "badge snob" then I'd highly recommend. There's a reason most review websites sing this product's praise 🤷

Almost there, just not quite...
So it was a choice of these, the Jabra’s or Bose Soundsport. I went with these due to RHA’s excellent reputation and being a British company. Summary: Almost there, just not quite. Would I pay what I paid for them again? No. Would I pay sub-£100 yes. Sound quality, for ear buds, good. A much more rounded sound than my Bose QC30’s, crisp and balanced, with no overpowering, hammering bass or painful treble. Product quality, excellent. The case is nicely finished as are the earphones themselves finished with a soft touch plastic that has lasted many sweaty boxing sessions with no marking. Only gripe is the right button is a little unresponsive / lacks the feel of the left. Fit, not as comfortable as the Jabra, but I definitely found the comply foam tips the best for fit when working out. The silicone work well but do work loose if you are doing a very energetic work out. I’ve never had one fly out though. Connection, this is where they lose out and it is a bit of a biggy. Getting them to connect can be hit and miss. You take the right out and in a short amount of time take the left out. Sometimes the left doesn’t pair, sometimes it pair and the right drops off. It did get better after a hard reset, but occasionally the left takes a few ins and outs to get it to connect. I have experienced drop out in the same places I run through and I think something interferes with the signal which doesn’t happen with my Bose. The big gripe though is that if I stop my music for more than a few minutes using the buttons, getting it started results in you having to use the phone, where you may have to hit play multiple times and then occasionally the connection will drop out and then re-connect and take a while to get going. Very annoying. Sometimes I it the button and it takes around a minute to get the music going again. When making calls I had an issue where calls would only last 30 seconds before repeatedly dropping Bluetooth connection and reconnecting making calls all but impossible. So far this has been solved by a hard reset. Calling, aside from the dropping issues (solved at the moment), quality in both ends puts the Bose to shame dramatically. It is clear and crisp even when outside. It was only when I was in a very loud pub that the other end had an issues. Customer Service, with the issues I’ve had RHA have been great. Quick to respond and very helpful. Would I recommend these? At a lower price definitely. If RHA sent a firmware updated to fix the connectivity issues they would be excellent.

Great Sound, comfort, fit and isolation. Acceptable lip sync, connectivity and headset
The good - they sound great. Well balanced sound, with just the right amount of bass omph (for me at least). Clarity is good. Have enjoyed listening to a variety of audio from Jazz to ambient, Techno to hip-hop, as well as audio books on audible. The comfort is good (for me with the large Comply tips included). The isolation is really good. Not up to my Etymotics, but nothing is, and these are way more comfortable. The sound isolation is very good. I happily use these on flights or in gym, without any issue. The fit is secure and brisk walking/gentle running is no issue. Battery life seems good, no issues. The Acceptable - The connectivity is ok. Sometimes a problem connecting on initial use and I need to reconnect. If I am walking with the phone in my pocket needs to be in right pocket, not left, otherwise there are fairly frequent drop outs. Certainly significantly worse than my airpods were. The lip sync is ok, but not perfect. It is noticeable but not enough to prevent using for video watching. Its an annoyance rather than a showstopper. When used as a headset they are ok, but for me the isolation is an issue. It needs a mode to feed a little real world noise in, so your voice sounds more natural. All in all very good. A firmware update with improved connectivity, lip sync and headset functions would get them to 5 stars ----- Update 8/3/19 - Tempted to remove a 1/2 star, if I could. Connectivity in a busy built up area (Tokyo) has been an issue with rather more frequent drop outs than I would like. I'll leave at 4 now, but may update again, if more dropouts occurring. ------ Update 22/3/19 I will give the customer service 5* They sent me a replacement pair to see if they could fix the connectivity/drop out issues. The new pair seem to have improved things (limited testing so far), with dropouts at a level similar to my airpods before. But I'm super impressed with customer service.

I usually don't like to listen music thru wireless headphones. Nowadays everything is wireless and numerous conference calls everyday made me reconsider my old thought... I want to try a wireless headset, not too expensive, but practical/functional - and of course, satisfying sound quality. After long search, I found RHA Trueconnect (old version) at very attractive price. I already have a wired earphones from RHA (CL750), and love its sound. So I give it a try for my new adventure - wireless sound world. Setting: it is so easy and simple. Once you set up, it will be automatically connected thanks to quick pairing. Only drawback is one quick pairing at a time - I need to unpair one device and pair other manually, not thru quick pairing. I could not find a manual explaining how to pair and switch multiple devices. Sound (and Fit): no complaints here. It has very balanced sound - not to tilted towards low or high, which I really like. Provided Comply Foam Tips are awesome (CL750 also provided these) - good fit/sound isolation/comfortable. Call quality is also good - clean and crisp. However, definitely mic quality from wired headset would be more crisp (bluetooth mic with noise cancelling feature has very distinctive sound - kind of echoey (is this actually a word??). Connection: relatively acceptable - good coverage (placing my phone in one room, and able to work around other rooms). Some unstable connection at certain spots of our house and yard - probably too many wireless devices sending a ping. Strangely, there was some disconnection when I laid down for ground workout, nothing major, but more unstable bluetooth connection... For work-from-home applications, it worked well - connection-wise and sound quality-wise. There is one thing I could not figure out yet - during the video conference calls (zoom/skype/team), only right earbud is active: it seems I have a mono hand's free device in my right ear. After each call, I checked both earbuds whether they were working, and both worked well playing music in stereo. I was unable to find instructions how to make stereo during conference call. If anyone has any idea, please share tips. Battery Life: once fully charged (both earbuds and case), I was able to use a week (3-4 hours a day) w/o charge. It is good enough for me. Bottomline: it has RHA sound (very balanced), comfortable tips, and noise-canceling feature. Most of all, price was right for me to choose RHA Trueconnect over other fantastic true wireless earbuds. If you are looking for a TWE at price range of $30-40 and want to use it for various things (not just listening music, but conference calling), this would be a good choice...

This is an excellent product. From the unboxing experience to the quality, RHA exceeds expectations. While this is not a known brand, the note from the start-up in the pack is rather endearing. Highly recommend this in the price range.
