I love these plates. They have been used and washed several times, and they look like new. The colors are more vivid in person than on the pictures. They are light but sturdy. Perfect for rv-ing and outdoor meals. I am glad I got these.

I bought the like new warehouse version of these plates because it was half the price. The box they sent me was brand new and unopened but it had a random hole in it. Everything inside was perfect! Definitely try that if they're available. You can always return it at no charge if there's a problem. As for the overall quality, these are great? We bought them to use outside in the summer without having to worry about them breaking. They are melamine (plastic) exactly as pictured with kind of a stoneware look on the inside only. Finish is very nice and durable. Thicker than other melamine ware I've used which is a great thing. You can put them in the dishwasher but not the microwave. I don't understand any of the negative reviews I've read. These are exactly what they say they are. Casual and nothing fancy for outdoor dining use. If you're expecting something more, you will likely be disappointed.

These are better than I expected. Heavier and more durable than expected, and great-looking.

I'll start by saying I do really like these dishes. However, two things I don't like. If you use a sharp knife to cut your food on them, it will leave cut marks on the plate. Also, this is hard to describe, but the size of the rim on the bottom of the plate causes it to tip if you push down, like to cut your food on the outer edge of the plate. If the rim were wider, it would be better. They are very good quality and they're pretty.

I don't have a dishwasher, so it is hand washing for me all the way. As I've aged my arthritis has gotten worse, and over the last few months I broke or chipped several pieces of my beloved stoneware dishes because they slipped out of my hand during washing. Needing something that could handle a few mishaps, I searched for a melamine dinnerware set that was as beautiful as durable. I absolutely found it in this set! Without the typical bright white backside, this dinnerware hides its melamine nature brilliantly. The colors are rich and it looks like beautiful stoneware, but has the incredible durability of melamine. The only thing missing is a set of matching mugs or cups.

I love these dishes. I love the lightweight-ness to them so when I hand wash they aren’t so heavy on my wrists. I love the design. They have been in my dishwasher and microwave and have had dark colored red sauce on them and have held up. I don’t think we have dropped any yet. But I have a 13 year old daughter and she sometimes just tosses the dishes in the sink and none have broke. I like that they are not made out of glass. By far my favorite dishes I have owned

These dishes photograph well! I tried to take some photos for this review to see if I could show how they REALLY look and I couldn’t take one bad photo. Even just looking at the through the lense of my phone’s camera they were beautiful....which makes them disappointing when you see them in person. It’s like a built-in Snapchat filter! The natural is pretty but with the filter they are deceptively gorgeous! The photos make it seem like there is depth and almost like the coloring is throughout the dish but it isn’t. It is just a print and the bottom is a bright teal color (much like the color I see at the top of my Amazon app while typing this review). All the dishes have the same pattern. The color of the plates is much lighter than what you see and I prefer the deeper/darker color you see in the photo. The bowls have a “bottom” pattern for the circle bottom of the bowl and then have a separate pattern for the sides, so you see the line/seam where the pattern changes rather than it being all one piece. They are thicker/more sturdy than I thought they were going to be. I don’t totally hate them and if I’d bought them for the camper or a back-up, I’d probably keep them but I wanted to change my everyday dishes so they will be going back.

I entertain a lot informally. My nice friends always want to help clean up but were banging around my china..for a casual meal this very durable but also pretty china solves the problem
