Very informative regarding social skills and children. This is the best information regarding social issues for ADHD kids. Schools should be teaching these skills. This book helps parents,teachers and therapist how to empower our kids to succeed in life. So happy to have found this learning tool.

Great resource and I just read today that new research findings indicate babies' gaze follows objects rather than faces in children who later are diagnosed on the ASD. These findings provide evidence that early intervention may prove beneficial!

Finally, an approach to pragmatic language that recognizes and capitalizes upon those with average to above-average intelligence! Rationales provided are clear and provide the reader with a firm foundation for GarciaWinner's approach. Activities are simple and engaging. One of my best purchases!

It is an excellent book for non-autistic people to understand autistic people. Moreover it provides a very useful guide in how to help them. Unfortunately, the writing style will make it extremely difficult for HFA/ AS to read it because it is filled with abstractions and conceptualizations.

The book arrived and I would have thought it was new. A teacher let me borrow it to help my son with his communication issues, I found so helpful I bought this copy

I work with young children with autism and am aware of the social deficits that most of these children experience. I am always looking for knowledge and insight into the world of autism and this book is full of theory but also practical ideas to help these children.
