I was pleasantly surprised by how well The Gutter Guard – Wedge performs. The design is simple, but that’s exactly what makes it effective. Once installed, it fits securely in place and immediately prevents leaves and debris from clogging the gutter while still allowing water to flow through properly. Installation was straightforward and didn’t require any special tools. The material feels durable and holds its shape well, even after heavy rain and wind. Since installing them, I’ve noticed a significant reduction in buildup, which means less maintenance and fewer worries about overflow or blockages. It’s a practical, affordable solution that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Highly recommend for anyone looking to protect their gutters without complicated systems.

These did the job but I feel like I have to have two per downspout to fully cover the hole. It would be great if these came 1" wider and a inch bigger diameter tube that goes in the downspout for the 5" gutters.

Round spout insert is super short & a bit too round/big to pit in my spout. Unsure it will stay in place, but will try. Nicely constructed to easily assemble.

Slowly zoom in on one domicile from above: Loose asphalt, pine needles, some leaves and random wind blown seeds, gather upon the roof, giggling quietly among themselves like mad imps, waiting for the next rain storm, to be carried over the edge, into your gutters, only to slowly get lodged in the exact middle of your downspout. Cut to a closeup of the naked despair and rage upon the faces of the men and woman as they try in vain to clamber up ladders and pull out these blockages by hand, or with grasping claws, or with futile excess, try to blast the garden hose into the metal recesses. You may wish you had that drinking water in a few years, friends. But what's this? One house among the many, containing a joyous couple, trio, multi-generational gathering, or whatever combination of humans, pets, technology and food constitutes a family in the cockles of your heart and pathways of your brain, has installed these gutter guards! The leaves and pine needles have run up against a veritable Spartan shield wall! Torrents of rain pour down, debris piles up on the hypotenuse, to be easily cleaned out, whenever the occupants deem it necessary. Pythagoras be damned! This wedge of overseas plastic instills unending terror in those kamikaze tree raiders! Unverified reports continue to pop up of leaves simply hurling themselves away from houses with the Gutter Guard installed, lest they become a failed mockery, rotting on the ridges of these unyielding guardians! 5 stars, would buy again if I collect another house.

These puppies were certainly assembled both quickly and easily. That being said, if you are a single female new homeowner like myself that recognizes that your gutters need to be cleaned out and for some ridiculous reason you think you can do this job yourself, these will certainly help you keep your downspouts open. If you have been like me and looked at your gutters and said "that's not that high, I don't need to call in professionals, I can handle this job myself!!" then you need these!! On my first ascension to the top of my new Telescoping Ladder (also bought on Amazon) I realized quickly, that the view from the top is much different than the view from the ground looking up. Since I spent the majority of my time white knuckling the ladder clinging to it to keep from plummeting to my death it made it rather difficult to carry what I needed up to the gutters. This gutter guard however, thanks to its streamlined designed sits nicely in the betwixt my "ladies" as I ascended the ladder for the install. Very easy to drop in the edges of the gutter to provide coverage. Would highly recommend!!

Waste of money. Didn’t fit the downspout hole and too tall to fit under the gutter support bar which was positioned just next to the downspout so there was no room to fit this. Ended up throwing them away

Concept is good. However if your gutters are the type nailed into the house they are not good as the nails are usually right at the hole in the downspout and these will not fit under the nail, even with removing the plastic circle that goes in the downspout. Only time will tell if the stay in place. Gave two stars just for the concept
