After receiving this I notice that something inside rattles around, like a piece came off. Is this normal?

I cannot remember since I purchased it about two years ago! I know that both my nephews love it!

just bought one & ther is something ratteling in side. What could this be.

Maybe a loose screw from the front panel?

No, it's pretty light weight. I have not tried it but could prob cut a hole in the bottom and add sand. Then plug the hole with a cork or something. I have done this with light weight lawn ornaments and it works well.

How big is this thing? Small enough to keep indoors or does it need to be outside?

I gave it to my Great granddaughter for christmas, so don't have it to measure. They do keep it in the house and I do remember it is no more than 2 feet tall. so it is about 24" by 12" by 9", not very big. Hope this helps.
