I like this very much , the bits are solid and everything is just great. I already have been using it to unscrew a few things . I love how the cover becomes a tray also for screws and such while your working . It comes with stickers and everything, just a great must have for gadgets and glasses.i should have done a video and pictures when it came but I was too excited for this .

But the advantage of this kit is in the obscure bits. You can count on those Tri-Wing/Y bits to get you into Nintendo consoles and controllers without stripping the screw or the bit breaking. The Gamebit security screws helped turn a broken Virtual Boy into a fully-functioning unit. There are even Triangle bits which can help you fix kids toys. The tips are all magnetic, too, which is a plus in not losing screws to the abyss and having to shake them out of your device. The magnetic cover and sorting tray is an absolute GAMECHANGER. For years it was a hassle to keep screws organized and not misplace them during my repairs; especially so in taking breaks from a teardown. Now, I can sort them easily within the tray and visually remember the order they came from. If I am interrupted, I can simply place the bit set over the cover and not worry about screws becoming misplaced or out of order from a bump on the table. This driver kit is absolutely fantastic. The bits are high quality, durable, and cover just about every repair need I’ve come across, from laptops and game consoles to phones and other small electronics. The driver itself is comfortable to use, and the magnetic case keeps everything neatly organized and secure. Beyond the quality of the kit, I also love that iFixit stands behind the Right to Repair movement, something I strongly support. If you're planning on any electronic work, or building a computer this is a great set. It has way more lightly magtetized bits than I'll likely ever use. A small driver handle and a flexible extension for those hard to reach area or for those of us with sausage fingers, are included. The foam in the case has the bit type stamped into it but it is difficult to read even with bright light and a magnifier, so keep the reference card that comes with it. The lid had an embeded magnet at each corner to secure the lid which can double as a screw holder so they don't disappear into the void. I would like it if the handle could take a little more torque, for undoing stubborn case screws.

I have had this set for about 4 months now and want to take the time to do a proper review. I was impressed with how sturdy the driver, case, and all of the bits were immediately. However, with things like tools, I feel like looks can be deceiving. The only way to tell the true quality and comfort of them is through use on various projects and time. Well 4 months isn't a long period of time, but I feel I have used these on enough projects at this point to give an accurate opinion on their true quality. For starters, everything I've used in this kit has fit perfectly to its designated purpose. There are no loose fitting bits stripping out the heads of screws and no oversized ones needing to be filed down. I am just as happy about the ease of use and comfort. The driver is well made, perfectly weighted, and just the right size to fit in tight areas while allowing me to still have a full grip when I need to break free a tight screw. The layout of the bits with their angular placement is the most functional on any kit that I've used. They're easily identifiable while allowing constant access to all of the bits. There's no need to shuffle around others to get to the desired one. The entire kit is well thought out and a breath of fresh air with its simplicity. The lid is thick, heavy, and spacious enough to make the perfect parts' tray when I'm working outside of my normal workstation. When I'm working on things, I feel like everything flows from one step to another so much smoother now that I have this kit. I no longer am stopping and going every few minutes to change bits, replace my previously used bits, and to juggle my parts tray into the mix so I don't lose any parts. Finally, I'd like to address the lifetime warranty. Let's face it, there's hundreds of kits out there. You'd probably need a dozen of them to get all the special bits that come in this set. Who knows how many of those bits would be a one job and done tool. I've had bits in kits that didn't make it through the disassembly of a single controller, let alone multiple projects. This kit is made to last, and they stand by that. I speak based on experience. I recently had my first bit failure and decided to reach out to the iFixit team. I will add that this particular bit seemed to be a one off, mismanufactured piece as it portrayed none of the quality I've come to expect from this kit. The company responded to me post haste, and within 24 hours sent out not one, but two replacement bits for the one I had an issue with. Within two days, I received the well packaged replacements along with a pleasant note, and I couldn't be more impressed. I will not hesitate to purchase any other products that iFixit offers in the future. I am happy that I found this product and this great company that stands behind it. I highly recommend this toolkit to anyone, from those who want to try their hand at repairing their own electronics, to the avid electronics modifiers who need tools that last.

Needed a kit that had some Torx bits. Bought a smaller one from a different brand but returned it and decided to invest a bit more. Totally worth it. The case is sturdy, closes with magnets and the bits and screwdriver handle are really high quality.

Tout simplement complet, intuitif et de qualité

Après avoir beaucoup entendu parler en extrêmement positif de cette marque et n'ayant toujours pas mon propre set de tournevis et embouts et ayant surtout besoin d'un set pour démonter de l'électronique, je me suis dit que c'était parfait pour moi. Et quelle surprise positive que ce set ! Déjà le prix est ultra compétitif pour le nombre d'embouts et la qualité des matériaux utilisés, ça fait très solide et durable et en plus, la garantie sur les embouts s'ils sont abîmés me font dire que je peux y aller tranquille. Concernant les embouts, j'ai bien plus que ce que j'espérais. Quasiment tous les embouts sont présents (que ce soit embouts Nintendo ou Apple, on a tout ce qu'il faut). J'ai pu démonter une Game Boy Advance SP en quelques minutes sans difficulté. La prise en main du tournevis est juste parfaite je n'ai pas besoin de forcer et même avec ma motricité fine qui est atteinte, j'arrive à démonter vite et bien. Et cerise sur le gâteau, Ifixit ce n'est pas que des outils, c'est tout un combat pour le droit a la réparation auquel je suis très sensible. Car dès que vous avez les outils, derrière les tutoriels ultra détaillés avec en plus la mention de quel embout du set est nécessaire rend le démontage plus simple. Aussi, vous avez des pièces pour des appareils des fois qui sont assez anciens. C'est une véritable façon de penser que je défendrais en recommandant la marque a mes contacts. Pour moi, Ifixit est une marque incroyable fabriquant des outils de qualité, qui respecte l'environnement, ses clients et aussi se bat pour nous permettre de réparer nos appareils qui peuvent l'être. El producto llegó en la fecha prevista, previo envío por parte de iFixit de la factura correspondiente el día antes, por lo que un 10 en atención al cliente, tanto por Amazon como por iFixit. Nada más ver el estuche se nota calidad, tanto en la tapa, que se fija perfectamente gracias a unos imanes, como en el interior. La base donde colocar las puntas es de goma eva y cada punta se mantiene en su posición perfectamente. Debajo de cada punta hay grabado el tipo y número de ésta. Es cierto que es difícil verlo a simple vista, ya que el el fondo completamente de color negro, pero eso no supone un mayor problema como algunos usuarios han reportado, ya que cada punta tiene grabada también la numeración y en la parte trasera de la caja hay una infografía con todas las puntas contenidas en la caja. Además en la página web de iFixit del producto, se puede encontrar esta misma infografía para descargar y/o imprimir si se desea. El destornillador es de aluminio liso y rugoso en la zona de agarre. Hay que recordar que esta es una herramienta de precisión, por lo que no es necesario un agarre de goma. El imantado es suficiente para sujetar los tornillos en la punta antes de su inserción o tras retirarlos. El extensor cumple su función, si bien es cierto que podría ser algo más flexible. Las puntas son de metal de gran calidad, con las formas muy bien definidas. Nada de puntas mal definidas, deformadas u oxidadas. Se nota que aquí han puesto todo su empeño en hacer un producto de calidad. Tiene todas las formas y medidas que cualquier aficionado o profesional de la electrónica pueda necesitar para desmontar y reparar cualquier aparato. Mención especial a las dos puntas para desmontar consolas antiguas de Nintendo, ya que son difíciles de encontrar. Es cierto que el precio puede parecer caro, en comparación con otros productos similares que se pueden encontrar, pero si se leen los comentarios de esos productos se pueden ver reportes de puntas oxidadas, deformadas o incluso que se rompen al primer uso. Por lo que recomiendo gastar unos pocos euros más y tener un producto de gran calidad.

This is a very comprehensive screw driver kit. There are enough bits for everything I have opened. And a lot of bits that I haven’t used. The flexible extension shaft and main handle are well made and feel solid to use. The lid has magnets at each corner to hold it in place. The inside of the lid has dividers to hold the screws you have removed so you can place them in individual compartments and not get them mixed up. It is amazing how handy that is. I would highly recommend this set.
