Dragon Quest 25th Anniversary Encyclopedia of Monsters Illustration Book

Well, while it's not in English it was still nice to flip through for the art, I'm old enough to remember when the series was called Dragon Warrior over here, so it's nice to see a collection of the art of the monsters, seeing how they tried to keep the original looks of the classic creatures while improving the level of detail as consoles improved. Honestly a nice thing to flip through, reminiscing about the games played over the decades.

The book was in good shape. Usually when I order books from Amazon the cornors are crust or smashed. This wasn't the case this time. The book itself is very cool, a must have companion read with the Dragon Quest games. It's has it own hardcover sleeve. The book is soft cover, which is the norm for books in Japan.

The book arrived in great condition. It was amazing to finally have a nice dragon quest anniversary book in my hands. (A small bump on the corner but nothing important)

If you're a hardcore fan of Dragon Quest Monsters this is the book for you, I got it mainly for the illustrations. I wish so badly that this book was in English Also putting the book into it's box as it's "supposed to be" with the spine facing out ends up putting wear and tear on the cover, so I put it into it's box spine-first. It looks really nice on the shelf and inside is a bunch of great artwork of the monsters of every dragon quest game up through DQ9 (I think). There's a lot of official art that I've never seen before except for in this book. It's really fun to flip through!

Beautiful book, wonderful quality. It is all in Japanese so unless you can read Japanese it is more for collecting/looking at. That being said, i don't personally read Japanese but thoroughly enjoyed the book and all the color pics of monsters over the years.

Awesome book for Dragon Quest fans. Has a ton of info (even if you don't speak Japanese) and the pictures are awesome. Has all the pictures for each game at the time and informative graphs for stats.

Dented on corner

This is a fantastic book to add to your collection. The pictures are clear and crisp, the descriptions are fun and informative. I love having the chance to take this from my book shelf and dive into Dragon Quest without a screen.
