Great
Great for neck pain and migraines as well as dysautonomia and for cooling you down to regulate temperature. I have 2 so I can rotate them in the freezer so one is always ready for use.

Definitely cools you down
I suffer with fibromyalgia, joint hyper mobility and Chiari malformation so having ice packs and warm bags is important for me. This product is really good quality, made with thick material which many aren’t so I’m always scared they will pop. I’ve used this dozens of times now, pip it in the freezer and it cools quickly so your not waiting around for pain relief. It don’t freeze solid either so it’s easier to mould around my neck and shoulders. So pleased with my purchase.

Great shape but needs a cover
The shape of this neck pack is great. It goes up the neck a bit, which really helps with migraine heat. I have only lowered the star rating because of the lack of a cover. It needs something between skin and the pack, not least because it gets damp as it warms up. Ive opted for a tea towel underneath, as it’s thin enough to let the cool through.

Decent size
I used a similar product following a skiing injury on holiday in USA which was brilliant. I've yet to use this particular one but it looks well made & am sure it will be as equally as good. Great value for money too.

tidy job
i have tried a few from amazon and this was the best as it actually conforms to your neck. other ones are too stiff due to the rigid outer material.

Great ice pack! I unfortunately deal with migraines especially around "that time of the month," and even after taking meds it does little to dull the pain. To get some relief I use my cold packs but the ones that I have were not that big and pretty much only covered my forehead. This would not be a big deal IF my migraines were only in my forehead, as anyone with migraines knows, they can go all over the place, even down my neck :( After my last migraine where it was all over the front of my head and in the back of my neck I decided it was time I got one that would cover a larger area so, I took to Amazon and came across this one. It has been a life saver! Not only can I cover a larger area but it can pretty much wrap around my head for those times that the headache/pain is everywhere. The other major plus about this is that it gets nice and cold but the pack itself doesn't get super hard to where you can't mold it the the areas like some of my other ice packs. It stays completely flexible to fit anywhere and keep it close to the area without loosing its form or coldness(?). (Is that a word? Meh) The seller, Vive Health has been great on communication and the item arrived fast and as expected, I couldn't be happier with this transaction or product!

As they claim keeps cold for 30 mins, not at all, hardly 15 mins cold

After 12 or so weeks of shoulder injury it was natural to try and get something more suitable to ice my shoulder. This fit the bill perfectly and is even more suitable than what the physical therapy folks provide...except when I earn the sports equipment that circulates ice water. I am very happy with this investment because it works well for my neck pain and my shoulder. It is easy to wrap in a dish towel or other light towel and comfortable on the skin if no towel is needed. Generally it stays icy enough for the twenty minutes on I want something between my skin and the ice pace. The first day I dripped something messy from the freezer on my ice pack and it cleaned right up with a warm sponge.

This ice pack is pretty good. I’m most impressed at how it’s not rock hard after being frozen. When you have neck and shoulder pain in those hard to reach areas and it’s not just a small spot, the traditional ice packs are a pain to use: you have to get them in just the right spot, hoping their flexible enough for the area, and once in that spot you have to figure out how to keep them there without over extending your arms (at least in my experience). I recently started going to a chiropractor and was told to ice whenever I have a headache or pain. I get headaches at the base of my skull and pain in my lower neck where it reaches the shoulders on both sides….try icing all of that at once. This seemed like the perfect solution. As some other reviewers said it is a little bit odd to fit, I think that’s mainly cause the gel is so thick and it’s not long enough to drape over the shoulders which would help keep it in place. Where it curves up to touch the neck needs to be a tad bigger for ease of use (and keep in mind I’m fairly petite 5’3” 125 lbs) so I feel like men would have an even harder time with this ice pack. The most confusing and annoying aspect is with such an odd shape for an ice pack how do you get a towel to wrap around it nicely? You don’t. On the instructions ON the frigging ice pack, step #5 says to use the cover that is included. Well, guess what NO COVER IS INCLUDED! I thought this was a fluke and since this has been the best ice pack I’ve found to handle my pain, I went ahead and ordered another one. A small piece of tissue paper was included with the ice pack, which I’m pretty sure isn’t meant to be the cover LOL. I just feel like if you’re going to make an odd shaped ice pack, say it shouldn’t touch the skin directly, and include in your own instructions to use the cover that you provide - then PROVIDE THE COVER! It’s just common sense to me. This has helped my pain and it lasts just long enough, since I’m really not supposed to use it more than 15-20 minutes. Other people have said it drips condensation as it warms up….yes it does….which is another reason why they should include a cover since that would take care of that. However, for all the qualms I just mentioned, the unique shape covering my shoulders and being able to go up my neck at the same time…I haven’t found another one quite like it that works well. So I’ll deal with the annoyance of no cover. What I found works best is I take a very light hoodie put the hood up over my head and use that as a “cover” as to not have it have direct contact with my skin and that works well. No staining on the hoodie. Although to be honest I have used it just wearing a tank top and whatever the material is it isn’t THAT cold like a normal ice pack where it’s clearly almost painful to have direct contact. I really like the material it is made out of because it does seem very sturdy. I’ve included a picture of the instructions on the ice pack so you can see what I’m talking about. If you have neck and shoulder pain and struggle with the rectangular gel packs. This is definitely worth buying. I know there’s some others on Amazon that drape over the shoulder and button in. The front so they stay in place….I’ve tried a couple of those and they’re so stiff and the buttons are so difficult to close it defeats the purpose - you end up hurting your neck more trying to close the button just to find out it can’t hit the curves of your neck anyways. This is worth the buy even if there is no cover. And as with any ice pack it melts so unless you’re going to use an ice pack while standing in a snow storm, you’re going to get condensation. Channel your inner MacGuyver and it’s worth it. Your body will thank you.
