Easy to use and install.
I've used several of these on miniature DIY houses/rooms I've constructed. Works great, lightweight and easy to attach to the back of projects that need a little light on the subject.

Great Item for the Price
These are cheap and do exactly what is advertised. All the ones I have used so far works. Soldering looks good (my neighbors dog chewed one up and I got a good look inside) and easy as pie to install. Buy with confidence IMHO ...

Perfect for my needs.
The past couple of Christmases, I've gave some snowmen lights I designed, and 3D print as gifts. The photos are of my old prototype, but they still serve the demonstrative purpose: I install one of these battery holders in the base, where I have a channel to route the wires from the holder up inside the snowman, which I 3D print hollow. I solder two Slow flashing RGB LEDs in series so the voltage from the batteries I put in this holder isn't too great, then I glue the snowman over the LEDs onto the base. This works well for me because the holder isn't overly excessive in size or feature, and it saves me a ton of work of trying to design my own battery holder and integrate it into the design. This is my second time ordering these holders, and when I need more I'll order more!

Perfect for fixing “unreparable” welding helmets
My Snap-on/Save Phace auto darkening welding helmet quit and the battery is not replaceable. It is now!

1 out of 6 didn't work
These are cheap, and they're fine, but some of them just don't work at all. If I wanted to spend 30 minutes trying to diagnose it, I'd just make my own. It's basically like wasting 20% of whatever you buy these for, because some just will not work.

Repaired a Battery Box on my fishing hat
These wired battery boxes were purchased to replace a broken battery box on an older fishing hat. The top cracked while changing batteries. That hat is no longer available. These were just what I wanted and needed. Simple snip/snip, then spliced in the replacement batt.box. Used a sticky hook&loop to put it in the hat. Back in use, for another 5 years I hope.
