Top Notch Match!
I've tried several brands of matcha over the years, but this is my all time favorite! It doesn't have to be Teahouse edition, any ceremonial blend from Jade Leaf is wonderful. But I have bought Teahouse the last two times I've ordered, because it comes in this huge pound pack. It's expensive, but not really. You get a ton of matcha for the price, and it's cheaper in the long run. Especially if you were buying matcha lattes elsewhere! I used to bring a small tin of matcha to work with me, along with a little squeeze bottle of sweetener. And I'd just grab a bottle of room temp water, drink a little to make space, then scoop some matcha in with a few drops of sweetener and mix vigorously. It worked pretty well and only left a few tiny globs of unmixed matcha. But the effect it had on me was so good that I came to love this simple mixture. Matcha contains L-Theanine, which mellows you out and honestly is just the best thing ever! It also contains caffeine, so it gives you energy. The 2 things working together is like a natural speedball! But it's not intense. You just feel calm, awake, and focused. And I've never felt a crash like I have from other caffeine sources. This is more sustainable energy. I tried the lavender oatmilk matcha latte from Starbucks a few months ago, and thought it was so good! I can tell the matcha they use is not as good as Jade Leaf, but the flavors compliment each other so well! At nearly $7 for a large, I started looking into making my own. I found some Torani lavender syrup at TJMaxx and everything changed.... At first I made a lavender cold foam for the latte, but quickly realized I didn't actually need it. There are very easy recipes online if you're interested. Because the Jade Leaf matcha is SO good, the simpler the better. I just take some warm water and add in lots of matcha- to make a concentrated amount. I put it in a cup with a lid and shake it really well- the warm water helps it to dissolve. Although if you have a wand or small blender, that would work well too. In a cocktail shaker I add ice, some of the matcha concentrate, oatmilk, and a dash or two of lavender syrup.....and shake really well. Then pour and drink as is, no foam needed. Aerating the 3 ingredients is the key. It also gets it really cold without having to deal with ice melting into your drink. If you don't have a cocktail shaker, use any cup with a lid. This homemade version with this superior matcha is so much better than what I can buy at a coffee shop. Speaking of, I have given up coffee for lavender matchas. I love coffee and espresso, and can make both at home, but really have no interest anymore. The matcha tastes better and makes me FEEL better!! I even bought a bottle of L-Theanine supplements in pill form- they're just derived from matcha! They make me feel wonderful too, but not as good as making and drinking my own. It's almost a spiritual experience, and I can clearly see why there are ceremonies dedicated to consuming it. I hope everyone else gets this much out of it, good luck!

Strong matcha flavor
Being new to matcha tea, I only know to look for a ceremonial blend. I tried the Jade Leaf matcha not fully understanding what to expect. Upon opening the package I saw it comes with thirty pre-measured packets making it simpler and quicker. After dumping the packets powder into the bowl I saw how fine the matcha powder was. Once in the sieve, there was very little need to sift. Adding water and whisking was equally impressive. The powder blended well and worked into a foam with minimal effort. It is a lovely dark green color and smells like the air after a rain. Clean, warm and slightly earthy. The taste is smooth, very little bitterness and there was no residue left in the bottom of the cup when I finished. I've done more reading since that first cup and read that it may give a burst of energy without the letdown of caffeinated drinks. Personally, I have not had that experience. While the price seemed high, I understand now that the quality makes it reasonable.

Good quality // please update packaging
I’m a big fan of jade leaf brand matcha. It tastes good, the quality is good, and it’s a relatively good value for the price. It smells nice and earthy, and the color is rich, and not brownish like some other affordable matchas. I recommend a good bamboo whisk, or an electric whisker. I personally use my whisking/foaming machine and it mixes really well. If you don’t mix the hell out of it, you will drink some chunks. That aside, it’s been my go-to after years of buying super expensive matcha. It’s honestly comparable. I can tell it’s good quality, because lower quality matcha tastes like rice powder, and can be more intense and jittery, probably due to less theanine content. I recommend it. *** my only qualm is the packaging. It can be pretty messy when you open it, because of the zip lock top on the bag. I know it’s hard to find a packaging less expensive than metal tins, but please do some r&d to fix how messy it can be to open and get out of the package.

The best matcha!
Highly recommend! The color and taste are incredible! It’s well worth the price! And I only use 1/4 teaspoon for a regular cup of tea. A little goes a long way!

Amazing Matcha with One Small Downside
This matcha is fragrant, delicious, and tastes like true ceremonial-grade matcha. I really enjoy the flavor and aroma — it’s smooth, rich, and feels authentic. The only downside is the packaging. It’s a little tricky to open and close, and the powder can spill out easily, which feels wasteful. My little trick is to put a tray underneath when I pour it into a smaller container, so I can save any spilled powder and still use it. Other than the packaging, the matcha itself is excellent and worth trying!

Bitter
This matcha is just okay to me. I have been making Aiya Ceremonial at home, but wanted to try Jade Leaf. There’s hardly any fragrance to it. It is a pretty good matcha color/brightness. It actually sifts down really well! I appreciate this as I found Aiya to be stubborn to sifting! However, the flavor is just so bitter! I am a regular matcha drinker outside of home and have had many different grades, etc… and just do not enjoy this one. I couldn’t drink this one straight if I wanted. I have to make it a latte with extra creamer, and agave to cut some bitterness. I gave it 3 stars for ease of sifting and the nice even level of alertness after consuming. Buy I will definitely stick to Aiya due to the pleasant smell, smooth taste and pleasing flavor.

Delicious!
Wow! I ordered the on the go packets and it's so easy to mix. I mixed mine with the 2 oz water plus 4-6 oz milk and toriani salted caramel syrup so I could make my own version of what I order at Starbuck's which is an Iced matcha latte with salted caramel. It tastes just like it! :) My picky teen even loves it!

High quality matcha overall. I’ve been recently buying Costco matcha but the quality is just isn’t up to standard. However, this brand of matcha offers high quality tasting matcha which can be seen even through the color of the powder. It’s easy to whisk out and can be even used in desert recipes. Buy this brand of matcha if ur a matcha drinking enthusiast! 🥰

These travel packets of matcha are perfection; convenient, easy, smooth, and tasty. I was actually quite impressed by the quality as I bought these for convenience of travel and wasn’t sure how they’d be. They mix up so well! The colour is nice, it does not clump, and the taste is smooth and lovely (not bitter at all). I included a video (and no that’s not how I’d normally make it lol). I would usually sift but since these are on-the-go packets I don’t always have that option or the time. I will say even when I’m out and don’t have time to sift, the match comes out perfect; zero clumps and so smooth. Impressed that you can just throw the packet in and mix with cool or warm water and have lovely matcha on the go. Even if you are using these at home it’s nice to have the matcha proportioned and individually packaged for freshness. The price is reasonable for organic ceremonial grade (also considering the individual packaging). Overall, love this matcha and highly recommend; it’s smooth, delicious, convenient, easy to mix, and lovely quality.

Great tasting ceremonial matcha at a reasonable price. Matcha ceremonial tea is very expensive because of the first grade quality of the green tea leaves and it’s very potent. I usually use half a teaspoon and it’s strong enough with a bitter potent taste. I just add a little bit of honey to sweeten it up a bit but you can have it without either if you don’t mind the bitter taste. I usually have matcha lattes for the most part. The price is a little high but if you use half a teaspoon for each latte it should last awhile. Overall, I am pleased with the taste of this matcha tea for the price I paid. I’m sure there are other options of match ceremonial greens tea that are better but the price may be very expensive. I am satisfied with this option. The only thing I didn’t like it can be confusing to open the package for the first time. I will now know how to open it next time! lol

Love this brand of matcha. It’s my new go to

The matcha is delicious once opened, but the taste changes after being refrigerated. I would say once i reach halfway is when the taste changes as well as the caffeine performance.. not as strong which leaves me still feeling sleepy or low energy. Not sure if it could be the packaging. Maybe I’ll try purchasing the can next time. Hoping it stays fresh longer.
