Good value scanner for less than £20. Plug it in and it works straight away. Works as a keyboard input, scans the barcode and does a carriage return from out of the box. Useful stand too

I was shocked how simple it would be to get this working, even though I had read about these items in general.After connecting the USB, the scanner may be used just like a keyboard. Data was input straight into notepad/excel.A useful booklet is provided that allows strings to be added before and after the barcode. This feature is particularly useful for delimiting data sets.

First unit did not want to work correctly, would scan but only bring up the numbers not the prefix.Contacted seller and they sorted out another without having to return the 1st unit, once arrived plugged in and it scanned perfectly including the prefix.

my initial review 4 months in was good. However this has been lightly used and now hardly ever works. I would not buy this brand again

I've bought this setup purely to input book ISBN's into the Amazon Seller search field, to speed up my book listings. I've owned and used Macs for over thirty years and bought this thinking it would be simply plug and play as mentioned by other reviewers.Nope.At the moment, nothing I try works.Tucked away in the product description there is the statement "It works with Mac system, but need to turn off the Multi-Key transmission function before using it."As far as I know, and as far as the monster Mac help system knows, there isn't such a function.Initially, on connecting via USB, the Mac tries to identify the scanner as a keyboard. There is a barcode to scan that (I think) is to identify it as a US/German or French keyboard.It doesn't.To help clear this up, I have messaged the seller for an exact run through of how to set the scanner up to work with a Mac, once that comes back I will revisit this review and update it with how to do it.Until then, if you are a Mac user, I suggest you keep your money in your pocket till this is sorted out.However....If you are Chromebook user... I've just tried this on my Toshiba CB and it works exactly as it should do. Plug it in, don't touch anything, point it at the barcode et voila - it scans and identifies the book perfectly, I'm really really happy with it and it means I won't be returning it for a refund, I simply have to use my chromebook for inputting from now on. I'll still come back and update the Mac functionality when I get it from the seller.Hope this helps.

For the money you can’t go wrong, I use this to input barcode numbers into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. Very fast scanning never misses a beat.

super petit scanner à code barres fonctionne très bien. il faut toutefois penser à mettre son ordi en mode majuscule...(sinon au lieu de vous mettre des chiffres le scanner voit les signes accents...)

El producto no es compatible con WIN 10 Home x64, el recto de características me parecen correctas.

... Bonne prise en main, rapide et fonctionnel ... mais fallait savoir que l'on devait appuyer sur la touche "Majuscule" du clavier sinon on avait des lettres bizarres qui s'affichaient. J'ai galéré pendant une heure avant de trouver !!

è uno scanner molto veloce e leggero e quindi adatto per chi lo deve usare per molte ore. L oggetto vale il prezzo che ho speso per acquistarlo ..... io lo uso sopratutto per leggere i barcode in lingia tedesca e usa

Un buon lettore, dotato del suo supporto per mantenerlo in una posizione fissa senza doverlo appoggiare a terra.Viene letto da un PC o dallo strumento che possediamo grazie ad una presa USB classica. Ottima velocità di lettura e decodifica del codice, con una affidabilità eccellente: non ne ha sbagliato uno.Perfetto per utilizzo amatoriale a livello di inventariazione di beni etichettati con codice a barre, ma anche per utilizzo amatoriale in un negozio e/o magazzino, per facilitarci le operazioni di cassa o di organizzazione del materiale.Solido, ben costruito e affidabile nel tempo. Non posso che consigliarlo.
