Good Grips Swivel Vegetable Peeler

EXCELLENT!!!! I had several peelers, including that stirrup-style one and they just were poor at peeling potatoes and carrots. I eat a LOT of carrots. Even my dogs eat carrots, they love them and beg when I'm making a salad. I replaced all my peelers and ordered this OXO peeler and I absolutely love it. The grip is easy to hold (I'm older, and ergonomic is key for arthritis.) The blade is nice and sharp, made short work of my carrots. It didn't want to nick my knuckles by being too wide. It's easy to manipulate safely. It's supposed to be rust-resistant, but that means, probably, you should dry it after you wash it. RECOMMENDED

I odered one of these a few years ago. I love that it’s sharp and cuts away the peel easily. It is so much less work and I feel, I am less likely to slip since I am not having to press hard as with other type peelers. I bought my mother in law one to replace her dull brand. Now she also loves them. She has arthritis and this one has made peeling an easy job instead of a painful one. It’s well worth the money, easy to use, and fits well in my hand. I would buy another if needed.

OXO is known for making good quality stuff, so I'm not surprised this small utensil is no different. The silicone handle feels sturdy and secure while peeling. The blade is smooth, sharp and flexible to glide over rounded edges. Works really well. Comes with a blade cover for storing. The handle is on the bulkier side though so that may be a storage issue for some but it also helps with grip, especially for smaller or weaker hands. It is not heavy though. If you need to replace your old peeler, I'd recommend this one.

This is the best vegetable peeler I've ever used. It peels smoothly and quickly. However, be very careful with it, as it's super sharp. During my first use of it, peeling ginger, I sliced off a 1/2" piece of my left index finger knuckle. The peeler was so sharp that I didn't feel the slice but realized something was wrong when the ginger turned red. It took weeks for the wound to heal. However, I did not let this learning experience go to waste; now I use cut-proof gloves. The handle on this peeler makes it much easier for my old hands to grip. Very much recommend but with the caution.

It’s durable, easy to use and easy to clean. Not the best in the market but it elths snd lasts.

This OXO peeler is solid. The blade is sharp and cuts clean without dragging, and the handle has a good grip so it doesn’t slip in your hand. The swivel makes it glide over curves easy, and it’s comfortable enough to use for a while without cramping up. Simple, reliable, and way better than the cheap peelers that dull fast.

Love the grip, nice and sharp. Does the job and dishwasher safe.

Nice, ergonomic grip on this peeler. Stays sharp and fits nicely into my hand. Makes peeling much easier and it rinses clean with just some hot water.

Nice peeler to use. The grip is comfortable and peels apples and potatoes with ease. Easy to clean. Only issue is to make the end tip better designed so that it is easy to remove/ dig out spots/marks embedded in the apples or potatoes. This is a good quality product.
