Holding up well so far
This pool float is only 1.5 inches thick, so it flexes down to take on some water when an adult is laying on it. That's not a drawback at all to me however as a bit of water lapping around my sides and legs feels awfully good when the sun is beating down on me and it allows me to lounge a bit longer before rolling off for a swim. It's made of foam covered by a waterproof coating that's holding up well so far to the HOT South Texas sun, and it managing to survive a couple of rowdy boys who jump on it, roll it partially over themselves as a shield during splash fights and otherwise abuse it. This is our first summer owning it, but I'm impressed that it's handled everything so far without cracking, ripping, or showing any signs of wear. We have about another full month until it'll be time to stick it in the pool house till next year, so fingers crossed. I have high hopes for it though since it seems to be doing fine. If you buy this just be aware that it's thin and very flexible. It won't keep you above the water line, but it does float well and manages to handle being jumped on, rolled up, slapped down onto the water, and other things it was never meant to have to suffer through. If you like to lay on your tummy to tan though you'll probably want to do what I do and lay with your face on the flat side and let your feet rest on the head support since it's not comfortable to lay on face down. I'll come back and update this review if my boys manage to destroy the float before the end of next month.... (they'd better not)!

Great Quality!! Thick and Comfortable!
Bought 2 of these. One of the best quality pool loungers for my pool I have ever purchased. I am very impressed with the quality. A little pricy but definitely worth it. These are so well made I am sure they will last years if taken care of! So happy we purchased them!

Cushy nice feeling float, doubles as sleeping mat
This is a great float but needs to be handled with a certain amount of care. It's very cushy and comfortable to lay on in the water. As a float I've used it in the river and pools. I found it easy to get on and off of. I also used it to sit on by the pool. As a bonus it works well as a child's sleeping mat, my 5 year old granddaughter slept on it soundly 3 nights. I could sleep on it myself and may use it for tent camping and it would certainly work for car camping too. For those reasons I'm glad I bought this pricey float. On the not as positive side, it's a little heavy (for me) to lug around. I opted not to bring it to swimming places you have to hike a bit to. I tried to roll it up and secure with a bungee to make it easier to carry and the bungee made slight but seemingly permanent marks on the float where it didn't "spring back". While it's not a big deal I'm still brainstorming how to tie it up without marring the surface. A wider cloth tape maybe, or fashion some kind of carrier. Also when I had it in my hot car I put the foam cloth that came in the box over it before I rolled it up so it wouldn't stick to itself in the heat. I read in reviews that could also mess up the float's finish - for example if you store more than one on top of each other they can stick to each other and when you pull them apart pull off some of the finish. As was suggested I'm storing this float underneath a twin bed, it fits perfectly. All in all I love it as a float and for multi function use, but it's a little fussy to deal with as well as expensive so I'm knocking off one star. UPDATE 10/6/15 - I have taken it camping and slept on it in my tent, it was comfortable for a sleeping mat. I bought a set of 2 straps in the camping supply dept. at Walmart to secure it rolled up. I rolled a light blanket inside and that kept the mat from sticking together on itself and the straps secured it without making any permanent marks and made an easy way to carry it.

Great!!
Love this raft!! No more air rafts that leak. It holds you up out of the water. I like that it has a neck roll which is comfortable. I was worried when I read the reviews about the smell but it’s not bad. I barely could smell it the first two uses, but since, I don’t smell anything. Will not go back to air rafts that don’t last. But this, you won’t regret it.

The only float I will buy for my dogs
Edit August 2025 I ordered again and received a thin cheaper one. I'm not happy. I would very much appreciate a repair kit to be sold on Amazon to patch the holes from my dogs nails. There's a number on the paperwork I got where I can call, but these days I don't trust calling numbers I don't know. That being said, I love this float. I've been purchasing the thinner ones for 4 years, since I adopted these most recent dogs of mine. And I like this one better. They are left out in or by the pool all year. They do crack everywhere and I have found I need to replace them after a year. I imagine if you take better care of yours, you won't have that problem. I'm wondering if this thicker one will hold up better. Idk yet. But I do know that it's worth the extra cost to get the thicker one. It holds my dogs better when they're standing on the float. Mine are 55lbs & 65lbs or he might be 75lbs now (I'm not sure). It's easier for them to step onto the float too. Actually I even like this color blue better than the thinner ones I've been buying. I will never get a blow up float again. They are easier to store but don't hold up. If you have a place to store the float, like a garage, that would be better. Regardless, I highly recommend this and will continue to purchase them. I included a couple pictures with my dogs so you can see how perfect these floats are. With the thinner float, my standing dogs legs are halfway under water, so get this float not the thinner one. If I remember, I'll update this after having it a year.

Nice pool float, comfortable. Quality is questionable
Amazon had this on sale in July, 2025, so purchased the ultimate - 2.25 inches thick in white. New pool, completed August 1, 2025. Went to use it today (September 1, 2025) and noticed that the vinyl material they cover this thing with is already cracking.

Amazing product at fabulous price. Used them at a resort in Dominican, took the name off them and ordered on Amazon for our pool at the house.

I am so disappointed. This float is so comfortable but after a months use, the outer lining is tearing everywhere. It’s only been used by adults, so no rough play on it but children, just lounging. Got the cost of this float, I’d expect at least three seasons

Belle épaisseur mais le matelas est tout fripé. J’espère que ces ondulations sur les 2 côtés vont disparaître.
