This is a very cute book for toddlers.

Such a cute fall book, my baby loves Biscuit! He is a good memorable character with simple actions and plot to keep his interest. He loves pumpkins so this was a great book to talk about our favorite things. Will buy more Biscuit books in the future!

Though the miles between us may try to divide, staying connected to my daughter’s new family half the nation away means the world. She and her husband now have an amazing world-absorbing 16 month old baby, and have transformed their very lives with him and parenting! The little guy LOVES books, and often chooses them from the sea of toys on the floor around him by day’s end. All of us grandparents and extended family visit as often as we can, as do they, and especially shower their household at Christmas and birthdays with what in hindsight has been an embarrassment of riches. So this September, we finally decided to really titer back, and spread ‘the wealth’ over the year going forward. To that end, we decided to send them a ‘Fall/Halloween Care Box’ and go a little less ‘out’ on Christmas. Halloween was always big in our family, and it’s only become bigger since my husband and I retired. Seriously, we get over 80 kids on Halloween! So we decided to send the little guy and his parents a ‘Hello Fall!’ package early October … This “Biscuit Visits the Pumpkin Patch” board book is PERFECT, and will herald in and reinforce the wonder of fall and activities his parents are already doing or might do with him. Contrary to so much that is ‘Halloween,’ the book isn’t scary in the least, but rather celebrates the simple joy of fresh crisp fall air, family activity, and baby animals. There’s nothing about Halloween in it. FWIW, the rest of their ‘Fall/Halloween Care Box’ is a signature curated treat box we hand out to all of our Trick or Treaters (little notepad, crayons or colored pencils, Playdo, a fidget toy, one piece of candy, and a sticker), a three-pack of Cracker Jacks, 3 soft granola bars, a “Super Gro Egg,” a non-threatening Halloween Pez dispenser w candy, and a Trader Joe’s felted wool pumpkin from Nepal. We’re hopeful it will be well-received. Next fall, we’ve already plans to buy another Amazon children’s book on a ‘little ghost’ that was a quilt!

Held my grandchildren daughters attention, illustrations are beautiful. Granddaughter loved it!
