NTC Red Book NICET Testing and Study Guide

Just ordered this book. Don't listen to the review of the other guy. This is a study guide and nothing more. Don"t expect the exact answers or they wouldn't sell the book.

All in all....it's a good book. Pros: +Has sample questions from all 4 levels of NICET certification +Questions are challenging and don't seem dumb down +Includes forms and explains the certification process Cons: -Only has sample questions, it does NOT show the answer or, even the method as to how to arrive at the answer. -Not what I would consider a study guide -Expensive I passed my test, but in all honesty, for Level I, 1 book really helped me out and its what I would consider a real study guide cause it shows you in detail how to arrive at the answer....I placed the link below., Or search for it ASIN is 1523633859. Overall a decent book for teaching basic nicet documentation but not what I expected, it's not worth the price I expect more for that kind of money

Studying the questions for nicet will not work. You have to have lessons, or learn the codes and standards books. Here you are memorizing questions that will not be on the test.

This book is specific to the NICET Fire Alarm exam. It covers every subject area of the test for all 4 levels of certification. Studying focused on effectively using the codes. Learned a lot and I passed the exam the first time. Best book out there and I have tried them all

I currently hold a Nicet level III in fire alarms because of the incredible in-dept training material from NTC and this book is very helpful if you don't have the recommend references for contract law and project management. The trick is to download the answer key for the book on their site. You should be familiar on how to use the code books as this is for testing practice! If you are new to this I would sign up on their site and watch their slides as they are interactive at quizzing and getting you familiar with code content from level I-IV. They have bundled packages on their site for their books. DO NOT BUY THESE HERE FROM OTHER SELLERS YOU ARE OVER PAYING. Go to their site and order directly.
