Shopped around a lot for a big ottoman with storage. The fact that this has a pop up table section was just a bonus for me. The color and fabric is gorgeous (went with the rustic brown color), the storage is significant. Really happy with this purchase. And I loved the price point. Furniture is expensive but this was affordable and sturdy. Update: it’s been 2 1/2 years and this ottoman is still in almost perfect condition. I was just laying here on the couch looking at it and being impressed with how pretty it is. The hinges still work great, the legs are still sturdy, the faux leather hasn’t peeled or faded at all. What a great buy!

The Umber Brown faux leather is beautiful, with good texture and color gradient; even more luxe in-person. Very functional, reasonable depth of inner storage too which seems rare. Can sit on it, put your feet up, and eat with or without lift... what more could you want?! Will see how stands test of time, will try to update in year or two.

Nice, good design and build, however faux leather in the brown looks cheap. A pretty good value for the price but I will be giving to Goodwill.

Very easy to assemble! I’ve been looking to find an ottoman with a decent amount of storage for our toddlers toys in an attempt to keep our living room clutter free, and this ottoman does just that! It has lots of storage space, and the joints lock in place, so I can easily open and and not have to worry about my 1 year old closing it and smashing his fingers. I was worried about the material and staining, but so far it just wipes clean very easily. I’ve had it now for a few months and it’s not showing any signs of wear and tear. I would definitely purchase again!

It's very sturdy and looks so good! It's very easy to clean and water spills or clean ups don't leave a mark. I also love the way it pulls up and the storage has been great for my daughter's toys!

I had a very hard time finding a square storage ottoman that looked nice, but didn't cost $1k and have to wait 10 weeks to get. Amazon was the last place I expected to find something but for the price, I think it's a value. Quality is good and it's very practical. While not real leather, the look is close enough to provide the durability I was looking for.

This ottoman is perfect for any small living room or apartment. It arrived fully assembled, all I had to do was screw in the four legs and place. I love that it has ample storage for throws and games, or anything you might need to store. It appears larger than some of the others that I viewed that cost less, but this appealed to me because it was ready to use out of the box. I'm enjoying it immensely, using it for my dinners (I don't have a table, and won't get one), the top rises to the perfect height for eating. Can't say enough good things about this ottoman.

This is the second Simply Home Ottoman I have purchased, well pleased with both. Lid lifts easily with one hand to put away a blanket. My 2 dogs,many times daily, use the ottoman to jump from couch to floor and it does not soil easily. Would purchase again.
