Works great for installing one and 1/4 inch slip joint
I saw a lot of varying reviews on this product, but it worked perfectly for me. Need to install a one and a quarter inch slip joint which obviously needed one side to be pushed in an order to install back over the second pipe this worked perfectly and made the project very easy.

Makes the job easy!
Sharkbite makes many plumbing jobs doable for most people! I was replacing some copper to pex piping and wanted to detach a joint without cutting. This tool worked perfectly! Detach and reattached within seconds. So easy!

Must Have for Sharkbite Users
If you haven’t used “shark bite” it is super easy. I called a plumber on a weekend and he asked me to describe the issue. He recommended rather than paying him extra to come and fix it that i give this a try. I was kind of shocked. Super easy - watch a couple of you tubes and get the demurring tools and a simple pipe cutter. I have done this several times now. These make testing a set-up and temporarily “plugging” and unplugging an end stop easy, don’t overdue this on/off of parts but it makes removal really easy.

I recommend to just get the plier tool.
Update: Later on I used the tool to remove the sharkbite fittings from the old copper pipes before we sent them to metal scrap. I WAS able to get it to work, but it takes a LOT of finger strength and pressure to push the collar on the sharkbite fittings. So it does work, but if you’re trying to remove a fitting with limited space, I’d still recommend the pliers-style compression tool. Original review: We had a bunch of sharkbite fittings for our shower remodel project, and there were two older sharkbite couplers on the old plumbing. I tried every which way to get this tool to work but I could never get it to push the sleeve in no matter how hard I tried or which way I turned the tool. I was able to get the old pipes loose, but I can’t really say it was this tool that did it. In the future I’ll probably just buy the plier-style tool for the sharkbite connectors. Luckily this thing was cheap and it didn’t cost but a few dollars, so I’ll keep it with the plumbing stuff just in case.

Low cost and fairly easy to use.
I literally had a hard time believing that this simple tool would allow me to separate a shark bite fitting. If you just have one or two SharkBite fittings that you need to remove, this is a great tool. It's cheap and fairly easy to use. I was removing a water hammer arrestor from a tee fitting. One hand had to support the pipe from bending while the other hand both press the tool into the shark bite and pulled out the water hammer arrester. It would have been a tad easier with a third hand or using the player version of the tool, but for the price, this Is a great deal. If you have small hands or do not have a lot of hand strength, The players that sell for about $10 might be a better option.

Great price to have all 2 sizes on hand
These do what they're supposed to do -- help release the Sharkbite fittings. You can find single size gadgets for less, but if you eventually need all 3 sizes, you'll end up paying more in the long run. Get these!

Works but not without a struggle
This tool is used to push in the Sharkbite collar so you can remove the fitting. I had to push for all I was worth to get it to work. I've seen several DIY ways of doing it that looked easier. I'm sure there's a trick to it but I only had to use it twice so take this with a grain of salt.

Product description said "Pack of 12" but I only received one.

It is too small and the fittings I used have 4 lugs around the brass part of the fittings, not on the black plastic part. Just be careful when ordering.

Si necesitas usar conectores rápidos, esta herramienta es util para retirarlos y volver a utilizarlos, no es económico y le falta algún pequeño estuche para guardarlo y no perderlo

Works Exactly as described

La clip 1/4" fonctionne très bien sur les tube d'osmose inversée de 3/8" extérieur. Cependant la description qui indique la quantité de 12 est fausse. Il y en a seulement 1 dans le paquet. À vous de voir.
