Absolutely Brilliant !! i was sceptical whether this product would work, as my stainless steel teapot was heavily stained, after just one application, it’s almost there, the outside is good as new, giving the inside one more clean. For the money, this product is a bargain, highly recommend

Not sure what others use this for but for me it's for removing stubborn coffee/tea stains from cutlery and mugs that no amount of scrubbing will remove. Very easy to prep this, just follow instructions, and the items are clean as a whistle in no time, it's very fast working. Quick rinse and good as new.

I have three badly stainless steel travel mugs i use daily, all where badly stained and although I had tried the usual cleaning methods, nothing really worked well. I saw this by chance, and although I was sceptical, I thought I would give it a try. OMG, I was truly amazed, even when it started to froth over the top of the mug, it had thick brown sludge with it. After an hour, I decided to empty them, I fully expected having to do a second session but, all where sparkling clean. I cannot recommend this product highly enough, I will be buying it again for sure, and telling all my friends about it. For the price it is excellent value, and way easier than mixing stuff up yourself. Only took one before photo, but that mug was the worst one.

This is very effective for cleaning tannin off your tea cups and teapots and I have used it for several years so I’d like to be able to give it 5 stars but the packaging is not as good as the earlier version when it was called ‘Astonish Cup Clean’ and came in a robust little plastic pot with a clip on lid. It is good that Astonish have opted for a biodegradable form of packaging but I think this is vulnerable to damage if buying here. I bought 2 pots but one of them was leaking the powder as the pot had got slightly squished in transit despite being inside an Amazon box. Luckily I have hung on to my original plastic container so decanted the contents into it. I would buy from a shop but it isn’t that easy to find.

This is the only thing that's ever really worked. Steradent-type tablets have done a lot of frothing up and shifter a tiny bit of the tannin. This just shifted it without fuss and without a great deal of frothing. No real scent, no lingering smell. It worked quickly and left the teapot with significantly less stain after just the first application. I was surprised how little was recommended but it worked. A second application cleaned down to the metal and a third shifted the really thick tannin coating the inside of the spout. That had needed mechanical scraping before. Depending on the item, you may need to wipe it from the outside. The slight overflow initially left stains as it ran down the outside, but the second time I just used a bit of the liquid to wipe that off.

Excellent cleaner.just put in teapot or cup+ add hot water.Leave it+ it does all the work. Good balue for money.Fast delivery. Delighted.

Best product we’ve found. To clean thoroughly cups and mugs that have allowed grime and tannin to build over time. 5 mins before dishwasher teaspoon with boiling water. And come out good as new

Simply amazing stuff. I have a philips filter coffee machine with the thermal stainless steel carafe (no hot plate) and I use this everyday, so after 4 months of use it is literally black inside from the coffee. So I put it in the sink, added a tablespoon of the powder and then filled it up with boiled water from the kettle (I let it stand for a minute after it boiled), it instantly started bubbling and overflowing out the top with loads of brown foam! I waited for the bubbling to stop and then topped it up from the kettle and left it for a good 3 hours, periodically giving it a stir. When I emptied the contents out it was absolutely gleaming inside! Completely shining new, superb. CAUTION.... please place whatever you are cleaning in the sink because the bubbling is crazy! Also, be sure to wear any kind of glasses you can wear, if you get a splash of this stuff in your eyes it will be gurgling there! Not good. Highly recommend this product, please be careful though.

Fantastic results. My metal thermal coffee carafe resisted everything I tried to clean the inside, including scrubbing with bottle brushes. One use of this product and it looks brand new. No more coffee stains!!

Great for cleaning teapots and coffee pots as well as mugs and cups. Gets rid of the stains. Easy to use and goes a long way.

J'utilise ce produit depuis longtemps entre autres sur les surfaces faience qui sont encastrées tels le lavabo, l'évier ou la cuvette des WC. Avec de l'eau bouillante et on attend que le produit agisse, magnifique brillant au résultat.
