WD make good products and I have many of them; simply do NOT buy them from Techinn (via Amazon). Look at Trustpilot and you will see why.

WD I have always found vey reliable. No problems with this hard drive almost just plug in an go.

Turned up on the front lawn 30m from door OK can get over it but when opened its not UK compatible only has a 2 pin Asian Plug.

Tube un poco de problemas en la compra pero esto fue debido al banco, ya que arregle la situación gerere la compra y me llegó el producto al soguiente dia no me lo esperaba la verdad faltaban dos dias para que me llegara y me llego, el disco es una maravilla no hace ningún ruido y su escritura es rápida estoy encantado con este artículo y el precio es sorprendente compraria otro sin duda.

Great external hard drive with a glossy piano black finish. 8 tb in size, which means a bit less due to how things are set up. Easy to use. Just plug it in and give it a few seconds and then you'll see it pop up on your drive. Have been using it for 4 years and still is working great. Having the Western Digital company backing your product is great. I have owned many externals over the years and always stick to WD since the one time (not with this product) I had issues, they replaced it with no hassle. Only time I have ever had issues with any WD drive is when the cable failed and not actual drive, and this drive is no exception. Have it connected and used as Plex media storage and as I said previously, been 4 plus years and still no issues nor corrupt sectors.

I checked reviews. I had doubts about this product. It arrived cleanly without issues; software worked well; I configured Raid 1 and it is working properly as of now. Will update the review after using it for sometime. Ps. I am not using it 24x7. So, take my review with a pinch of salt, in case you want one for a 24x7 usage.

Gutes Speichermedium. Nach meiner bisherigen Erfahrung sind die WD My Book Desktop Externe Festplatte, 1 TB und 2 TB sehr robust und langlebig. Ich gehe davon aus, das auch die 6 TB die selbe hohe Qualität besitzt.

Only been using it for at least a month, but no issues thus far! Then again, I have only been turning it on, to store or retrieve data, and keeping it disconnected from the power when not in use, to preserve its lifespan as much as I can.
