Worked Like A Charm
Needed to upgrade my exp gdc beast 8.0 cable to the newer M.2 version. Tried a 8.5 M.2 Version Beast and cable with no luck. Lots of money spent and I couldn't get my GPU to start. Purchased this M.2 (NGFF) Key A/E/A+E to Mini PCI-E Adapter with FFC Cable and installed it. I pluged my old 8.0 beast in with the Mini PCI-E Adapter pluged ito the converter and like majic my gpu fired up and ran like a charm. I guess the Beast 8.5 and M.2 cable is on it's way back. Good thing cause the seller soaked me for it. Picked this converter up for about $45 less. If your exp gdc beast 8.5 M.2 version won't work use the old 8.0 PCI-E cable and dock with this converter. I highly recomend it. comes with 3 FCC cables different lengths and an adapter mount with screws and good instructions. A+++

English: I couldn’t get much use out of this adapter, as it short-circuited after just a few minutes, burning the connector and the port where the flex cable connects. To be fair, I’m not sure if it was a product defect or my own mistake—maybe I didn’t connect it properly, or perhaps the adapter itself was faulty. While it worked, it did what it was supposed to do, but there are other alternatives out there.

Did not work with a PEAKCan device
I've tried to use this to adapt a PEAKCan MiniPCI-e card to a single board computer, but the OS would detect it.

Solder bridges?
Tried using this at work for an atheros wifi chipset. It does NOT register with the OS. I have another version of this product at work, which DOES WORK. I’m wondering if the solder bridges need to enable a config for specific wifi chipsets, any guidance? Any schematics?
