My granddaughter cannot hold anything in a normal pencil grip. Her teacher suggested FLIP crayons. She almost immediately starting using a pinch grip. So they did the job for me.

I liked the concept of these crayons for students to promote fine motor development and proper grip. The problem is, I found that the paper on the crayons slip easily and the crayons also break easily. I wish they were sturdier because they do promote proper grip.

Smaller than I expected but perfect for little hands

Well worth the purchase. I was sceptical how helpful these would be in teaching my child writing technique and skills; but, they are perfect for his four year old fingers.
