Been using Bitdefender Total Security for over a year and i love it. Easy to install and setup. Great for PC Gaming Setups. Block's incoming threats when your surfing the net & has a lot of security features. I love it when it notifies me if i have any windows 10 or any kind of update for my computer. One of the best parts of the software is "Activate profiles automatically" area. Automatically activates the right profile based on your current activity and running applications. So if your playing Video Games on your PC and if you set the "Game Profile" Configure and at the bottom check box "Real-time optimization" it will improve performance in real-time and eliminates interruptions while "Gaming Profile" is turn on. You can even Turn on Activate profiles "Automatically" so you don't have to keep clicking on what Profile to use if your watching a movie, using your e-mail, Battery mode profile or Public WiFi (Wi-Fi). Bitdefender Total Security Support Center is great to use if you have any info that you would like ask. You can E-mail them or Call if you have any problems. You cant bet this price. I use to have Norton Security for the longest time and had a little trouble using it and all ways had virus still come in when i surf the net & it will slow down my PC when i came. Bitdefender is my number one Total Security and hope it keep getting better. FOR GAMER!!! MUST READ! The Utilities area is great. Has a One click "Optimizer" for remove unnecessary files one easy step. "Disk Cleanup" to clean your device from large files that take up a lot of space on your device. "Startup Optimizer" to boot faster by removing or delaying the start of your installed applications and a Anti-Theft protect what you store on your device in case of loss or theft. Bitdefender has some great Privacy Features like password manager, Data Protection,File Encryption, Safepay, Video & Audio Protection, Parental Advisor and Anti-Tracker and VPN that i here every one is using but you have to pay a little more but it is worth the money.

One of the top rated, if not the best, security suite. Comcast is pulling their usual fun and games. No more Norton 360 for free with an Internet subscription. Without going in to details which are not relevant to this review, the option Comcast was offering was unacceptable and, to be completely honest, deceptive. So I decided to pick this up on sale, this is even a good deal at the full 55 dollar price, and so far so good. Excellent programs. Free "limited" VPN. But hey, you need real privacy full time? There are better options than a VPN. And you get a two year subscription for five devices. So why the 3 Stars on install? Well, and this is not the fault of the program or is it?, I had somewhat of a problem removing a couple of Norton files from one of my computers. The other three removed Norton and downloaded Bitdefender easily. But this one......which was kind of confusing since all my Norton was through Comcast over the years.......would not allow me to remove five or so files. These files stopped Bitdefender from downloading. For IT people and the like, probably not a big deal. For me......and I have more experience with computers than most out there....it was a PIA. You have to go in and change administrative preferences and all this other nonsense. It can be done, but not simply. Or you have to buy a 3rd party uninstaller. Why a new program cannot just go in and annihilate all files from the previous security program is confusing, but there it is. Secondly, I tried to install this on my Fire since I had one available device left. Nope. You have to download Google Play and I could not find this on Amazon Apps. Amazon uses a different version of Android made specifically for them. Oh well.......the Fire is a throwaway device so no big deal. Our two IPads do not need 3rd party security, just our HP's. Other than that......very pleased!

I find Bitdefender to be the best total anti-virus package and easiest to use compared to all of the rest! It does not slow down your computer at all, and easy installation. What makes this order even better, is you receive the activation card by mail, and on a card which you have to scratch off, so you can be assured that your code has not been revealed to others!

I have been using Bitdefender as my antivirus protection for probably over a decade and find it to be the best of all the products in it's class. I am tech-savvy so already adept at avoiding falling into phishing and other traps which can wreck havoc on a device but I I would never go without any kind of virus protection software. I uninstall the bloated ones that tend to come pre-installed on a computer and install this. I have it on 5 devices, including my Samsung Galaxy mobile, 1 desktop, and 3 laps running Windows 10 or 11. I find the pricing for this software from Amazon to be awesome as a 1 year subscription would have cost me $99 from Bitdefender and I get 2 years from Amazon. The mailed code arrived within one day and when I entered it in Bitdefender Central, I received a confirmation that it was valid and accepted. The confusing part (which is ALL Bitdefender's fault) is that the My Subscriptions tab doesn't make it clear that the subscription was renewed (see top portion of screenshot). I contacted Bitdefender by chat and they pointed me to the (smaller) portion in the lower screen where the expiration date was updated. Why wouldn't the new license replace the old one? They say that it will kick in once the old one renews (even though the beginning date overlaps). I'm still happy with the product but just thought I'd point this out so others aren't wasting time contacting customer support.

For most people the 5 device plan works great. My desktop, notebook, Android phone, and my brother’s desktop, and his notebook are ALL protected with my one plan.... AND, having the best performing, highest speed premium VPN is a no-brainer - with NO data limits.... NO ONE needs to know who or where I am online from, and being able to select your "apparent location" with the multitudes of VPN servers makes for a truly stealthy internet connection.... When a new program attempts an internet connection, setting the "alert mode" will display a pop-up box asking to permit or block the connection.... The VPN is set to start as soon and my computer boots and that is especially important when paying the monthly bills via my banks online bill pay service.... Depending on the VPN server location selected, VPN speeds are >90% of my ISP speeds without the VPN on.... I have been a subscriber with Bitdefender for OVER 15 years WITHOUT ANY SECURITY BREACHES/HACKS.... Its real-time scanning is FAST and does not impact system performance to any noticeable degree....The TotalSecurity protection and their great VPN speeds will keep me renewing my subscriptions….

New review: Sadly Bitdefender has turned into Norton. Constantly deleting files for being "strange" and closing your programs at every turn. Using Regedit is impossible if you don't disable shields and worst of all it literally terminated Explorer and deleted Dirt 5's EXE because I copied it to my Desktop. Apparently copying a game exe is "Suspicious behavior". Contacted support and they initially said they'd give me a 2 month extension to my soon-to-be expired subscription which I still haven't received. I mentioned it in a few more times and was completely ignored. Then they told me to download a program which started to log literally everything on my computer. Every single program, all currently running programs, and I closed it before it could get any further (which was like 20 minutes in and only 2/10 the way through). I guess to add to all of this I've only faced problem after problem with it hammering my drives because I had the audacity to launch a vidya gam (video game). Their response was the obvious "just exclude it then" which didn't work. Had to just let it scan until it got bored and when I moved the game to another drive it hammered that one too. So yea I'm not going to renew my subscription. They know this and I doubt they care. I'd rather an anti-virus that doesn't stop me from destroying my Windows install, which I have never actually done. I've had Windows 10 destroy Windows 8 and Linux destroy Windows 10 because Windows Installation was being Windows, but I have never destroyed Windows before. As long as you exclude me duct taping the Linux-destroyed Windows back together until it finally failed one day. Old review: Bitdefender is probably one of the better Anti-viruses out there in my experience. The only issue is that out of the box it's a bit on the too-safe side blocking all programs that access your Documents by default and even blocking access to your router because it's "Not secure"... I'm not an expert on Anti-viruses though but I can say I've enjoyed using it far more than I've enjoyed using Avast. Although one thing that does have me slightly worried is they've blocked Google on a number of occasions for a short period...

I've been using BitDefender for over a year now and can't be more happy with the service. I've used the tech support feature a couple of times and the team was able to resolve my inquires within a couple of minutes. This is very easy and straightforward to install and use. BitDefender Total Security has a lot of great features and the best part is, you can use this on up to five devices. I only have PC and Android phones so I cant attest to how easy the install is for the Mac but given how easy it was to install on my PC and then also on my Android phone I would think that it would be just as easy. You also get a decent amount of features with this version of BitDefender Total Security such as anti-theft, disk optimization, Ransomware, firewall, and antivirus. They also have a VPN feature as well but that comes as an additional cost. I definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for multi function firewall/antivirus with additional bonus features.
