Pay attention to what this is and it works great. It’s an adapter for devices that are dual voltage to change the plug shape to the older european type-c receptacles, as advertised. Devices that only work on 120v will fry so don’t blame the adapter. (Love all the 1 star reviews that blame the device for user ignorance). The type-c plug fits into european type-C, E, F receptacles which is convenient but the device really shouldn’t have a 3-prong receptacle since the European type-c plug is an un-earthed 2-prong leaving the 3rd prong (commonly called the ground prong) unconnected/ungrounded giving a false sense of safety. However many people in the US use 3-to-2 prong adapters incorrectly here as well. Would be better if it only had 2-prong receptacle. If you need to plug in a 3-prong, it should only go into a type-e or type-f receptacle and you should really use an adapter specifically for them with the correct earthing connector but of course one device that allows you plug in both 3-prong and 2-prong into the older 2-prong european type-c is more convenient on a short trip. Does what it’s advertised to do but pay attention.

Just got back from France and these worked wonderfully. Loves the two ports for charging phones and ipad. Had limited plugs on river cruise so having versatile plug really helped. Still had to have adaptor for hair appliances.

The tessan Travel adaptor is ESSENTIAL for modern international Travel. it feels good in your hand, solid, not cheap like you would expect. It will charge your 2 cell phones via USB, no prob so you really don't need to bring those clunky USB bricks, although you may want just one as a back up. The Actual outlet functions REALLY well, although it is not a " Step-down converter " as many point out, it is safe for laptops with a 'power adaptor/brick' because that is a power regulator/step-down converter, so no worries, our laptop was plugged in almost daily and still functions on battery and plugged in here in the US just fine. As a side note, European outlets require those two probes to be firmly inserted so at 1st it may seem like/feel like it may not fit in, but with a firm push, click, snug connection. It works in inset outlets as well as the flush style outlets. Works in Italy and Germany for certain. although most modern hotels have USB chargers built in, this offers more versatility because you can get your laptop/ipad / etc and in more than just one location, where they decide your USB should be. The only thing about the design is that it is slightly clunky, and its not exactly slim. although i prefer it the way it is to folding, which may break over time.

I got these for my European trip and they worked great. So glad I bought them. They were very much in handy from using them with my curling iron, to phone changing and for my steamer. Great product
