GE 30" FS Radiant Range Storage SS

I love this stove very much. It is very beautiful, it heats up quick and is easy to navigate. I highly recommend purchasing this stove .

Very easy to clean and heats up fast!

Long story short, I had the terrible misfortune of dropping a bottle of cooking spray on the glass cooktop of my GE range. It broke. It sucks. It is 100% my fault. I suspect that nobody is shocked that glass breaks when something heavy is dropped on it... More bad news....GE Appliances prices the replacement cooktop (Part Number WB62X26649) at $867.30. That is INSANE! Literally, I could go to Home Depot or Lowes and get this same GE range (brand new) for $50 to $70 less than the cost of replacing the cooktop! Logistically this makes no sense at all. It's not good business or customer support, and it is definitely not sustainable. I don't expect that GE Appliances will do anything or that anyone that works for this division even cares. Just another customer complaining about parts prices, am I right? Anyway, unsatisfied customer here. I won't be buying another GE product for my family, and I won't be recommending your brand either. Posting on Amazon, Home Depot, and Lowes as well. People should know that your parts are priced well-beyond what is reasonable. Merry Christmas. Zach Sands

So it works generally ok but I liked my previous Whirlpool better. I find this smooth top does not clean nearly as well as my 15 year old whirlpool. This one is perfectly smooth glass with no texture or pattern and I find that spills stick to this surface even when I use the proper top cleaner and elbow grease. ALSO this unit will not slide back flush to the wall because the back bumps into the 220 AC plug. CHECK the height of your AC socket and compare to the height of the recessed area on the oven to be sure it will slide back flush.

I like the size and color

I have a1 year old ge electric stove. The first time I self cleaned the top element caught on fire and was melting. Ge customer service was very unhelpful and refused to replace the stove. I will never buy a ge appliance again.
