Uni Jetstream Multi Pen 4 and 1, 0.38mm Ballpoint Pen (Black, Red, Blue, Green) and 0.5mm Mechanical Pencil, Body, Navy (MSXE5100038.9)

Uni Jetstream pens are high quality. They write smooth thin lines (0.38). I have been using them for over 10 years and will continue to do so. I love the multi-colors. Perfect for those who need to take notes, using different colors. They look professional. Pen refills are readily available. Strongly recommended.

My wife is a nurse and brought home a single-barrel black version of this Jetstream pen that a colleague had loaned her. She was impressed with the smooth, fine, 0.38mm line -- as was I. So I went online to buy some and found this multi-pen version. I am geek for multi-pens and own a few good ones. This one is not as fancy, but it has five options, including three or four (red, blue, black, and green pens, plus o 0.5mm pencil), And the barrel is so nice to hold. The operation is easy and the pen writes very well. My wife uses four-color pens for charting; I like to differentiate notes in small notebooks, so this is perfect.

I used to carry some really nice custom made pens loaded with Jetstream refills (0.5mm) until I met these 0.35mm Multi Pens. An engineer I work with recently returned from Japan where he always buys a few to bring home. He was eyeballing one of my custom pens and I was eyeballing his multi pen. We traded. I've been hooked ever since. It is so nice being able to write color coded field notes, redline schematics, and pencil mark practically anything all with one well-made pen. I write very small so finding a pen that can draw such a consistent thin line without bleeding all over the page or smearing is a rare find. I've found nothing that works better. I highly, highly recommend these pens.

This pen offers so much in comfort that it is easy to forgive the small breakable .5mm pencil that it comes with. I love the multi color for marking up different items on my architectural drawings. Some won't mind the pencil but I have used a .7mm for so long that it might be hard to get used to for others. Nice grip and easy function selector for changing to a different color. Took a minute to figure out to push down on the clasp to activate the pencil function since it didn't come with instructions for use, only for refilling the colors. Easily fill the pencil through the top after removing the cap and eraser to open the storage pipe. great for gifts and people will steal this so keep an eye on it.

I have been looking for an ultra-fine point multi-colored pen for years now. This is sooooo much better than the prior ones I have tried. It has 4 colors plus a pencil and is very easy to hold. I have used it for about 2 months now and it is still great. Not sure how long the inks will last, so I ordered a refill kit, so that I never have to be without it. My favorite use is to work crosswords and do Sudoku. I use the green my first time through and can write with progressively darker colors each time I work the puzzle. It's so important to have an extra fine point when you are doing the super hard puzzles so you can fit all the possible choices in the little boxes. Yes, I know, that should not be the primary reason to buy a pen. In addition, it writes very smoothly for all other purposes. The ink doesn't run or clog. I am overall extremely happy with this pen.

This has quickly become one of my most favorite pens. I love the clarity of the text when writing with it. Beautiful and clear, making it easy to read. One note, though, be mindful of the type of paper you write on. I was a newbie and used this pen on index cards with a lot of rough pulp in the paper quality. Had to buy refills because the pen got backed up and stopped writing. Probably because it's so thin. Got the refills and it's good as new. Now I'm more informed about pen types and the kinds of paper they're compatible with. Learned something new! Love writing with and reading what I wrote with this pen!

I LOVE THIS PEN! I have 3 of them so they are everywhere I am with my paper planners/calendars. The multiple colors are great in lieu of carrying highlighters with me. The different colors are used for Mom's appointments, my appointments, birthdays and holidays. I seriously do not go anywhere without one of them now!

Works fine but ink of black and blue ran out fast

I returned the pen. Although it is a really good pen + pencil, I returned it because I was surprised to find it selling in the local stationery store for almost half of the price!

I absolutely adore the pen. The tip is very sturdy which is unusual for multicoloured pen. It glides so nicely on any paper and doean't smudge. My only critic is I don't know how to make the mechanical pencil work without having to unscrew the whole thing. But since I have no use for it I don't care as much. I bought 4 more to give to friends and a backup for myself.

I use it for my planner/diary during my work. There why we need to use good quality products if you get thinner and sharper ball point like under 0.4mm. Because I have many multi-pen. No complaints about the quality and the grip is also good compared to the size which holds 5 different things. I even put a name label on this pen. However, there's little concern about how to get the refill for this pen. One refill of black is 7$ for this but this is around 14$.. I even checked Japanese stationary stores..but I could not find to buy them economically.
