Decade Awards Challenge Coin/Rosewood Finish Medal Presentation Box (3.75 Inch Square)

This is a nice presentation box, and a good value for the price. Here's what I noticed and appreciated about it. • The wood feels solid but not heavy. • I appreciated the soft bag it arrived in that kept it free from incidental scratches. • The bottom has a nice unobtrusive felt layer, so it won't scuff surfaces. • The hinge doesn't seem too delicate, but I didn't push my luck to test out its strength. • The box stays shut with a hidden pair of magnets - nice touch. • I was pleasantly surprised to find that the presentation area contained two layers of foam, one of which was easy to customize with some scissors for a good fit for the coin I was using it to present.

Helps to keep special coins in mint condition and also as a keepsake. Nice as a gift.

It is an attractive and well made box. However, it really doesn't serve my purpose very well. I intended to use it as a coin presentation box for a birthday present. I had hoped that, when it said memory foam, that would mean I could push the coin into the form and it would stay. Unfortunately, the inside is just foam, and so when I try to push the coin into the foam it jut sits on top and the coin is untethered to anything and rattles around the inside of the box. Don't really know what to do, so will probably keep the box and use it for something else and go to Coins Plus, where I just should have gone in the first place.

I am using this as a gift box holding a medal that is being given to a very honorable person. It's very nice. I will be ordering again

Giving a coin as a birthday gift. This presentation box is perfect for my purposes. Quality is very nice.

Nice display/gift case

I really like the look of this box but was disappointed when I opened it. The hinges were misaligned and the box opened kind of crooked making this seem cheap, then it broke on me. I’m giving it two stars because it looks really nice but didn’t hold up well at all.
