Pockets of Learning Goldilocks and The Three Bears Fabric Interactive Pretend Soft Play Activity Set

This is a lovely toy! It is extremely high quality with whimsical sweet details. It is a great book companion to teach language concepts and sequencing in a fun play based manner. This playset is so well done and so much fun for my 7 yr. old. Not only are the furniture pieces stuffed so they are "too hard, too soft, just right," but the pillows on the beds flip up and the phrases are embroidered underneath. The bowls also flip up for the "too hot, too cold, just right" phrases. The beds and chairs attach very securely with Velcro. Each bear has his or her own fabric/color coordinating for each of the components of the story. The storybook is also wonderful. The fabric patterns are the same as the toy. While the story is familiar, there are a few fun twists. The bears and Goldilocks are all freaked out by her discovery in Baby Bear's bed. Father Bear is the porridge maker and Mother Bear is the one fixing the broken chair. At the end of the story we learn that the bears never leave their door unlocked again. While I believe the description refers to the book as having "pop-up" features, there are actually flaps on nearly every page. This is a plus for me since my child likes these better and they tend to be sturdier, but others might feel differently. This is a really neat playset and I am guessing that it will get many hours of play.

My children, ages 3 and 6 both are quite smitten with this toy. There is something about the all-inclusiveness about it that makes it quite appealing for them. They love that the beds in the book are same color as the beds in the house! It provides a wonderful opportunity to act out a familiar story, but my older daughter has already used it to extend other play. I will probably purchase the 3 Little Pig set for Christmas. Thank you!

Absolutely delightful, soft toy for play and storytelling!

The packaging was great and the items look like great fun for our almost three grandson. He will certainly have many hours of enjoyment role playing the story.

I was very pleased when it arrived. Was even cuter than pictured and very well made. Very high quality and shipped very quickly. I sent to my granddaughter in Arizona and she absolutely loved it. I would highly recommend these sets. I loved that the story illustrations matched the figures.

Such a cute playset and practical, too, what with the fact that everything can be zipped up inside the house to prevent pieces from getting lost. So cute for the young child. Comes complete with a good Three Bears book and CD for the child to follow along with as they play.
