Perfect Front Tire for My 2005 Honda GL1800 — Smooth, Confident Ride
I put the Bridgestone Excedra G851 Cruiser Front Tire 130/70-18 on the front of my 2005 Honda GL1800 Goldwing, and it’s been exactly what a big touring bike needs. Mounting was straightforward at the shop — true to size, no weird fitment quirks. Once on the road, the tire feels stable and predictable in all conditions. Cornering on sweepers is confident without twitchiness, and it tracks straight at highway speeds without wandering. The grip is strong in both warm pavement and cooler morning rides, and I’ve noticed less shimmy under braking compared to some older stock tires. Ride quality stays cushioning rather than harsh, which matters on a heavy bike like the GL1800. If you’ve got a Goldwing and want a front tire that balances comfort, stability, and confidence without oversteering or vagueness, this Bridgestone is a great match.

Wet weather traction is great
Only have 1000 miles on my tire, but so far it's been very good, especially in the rain. Can't say anything about mileage yet, but so far very pleased with this tire. I've mostly had Avons and a some Dunlop Elites, never a Bridgestone, if I get 15000 on this on the front it will get a 5star all the way around. Received it in a couple days after ordering, so kudos to the vendor, Chaperell

I ride a 2008 Goldwing. I have used many tires in my 60,000 mile travels. This tire meets all my expectations for the handling of an exceptionally large motorcycle. I have been down before using inferior tires of which I will not name, but this tire met all my expectations.
