Makes a great gift for a new arrival
Trying to be different with the baby gift, I had the bright idea of giving bookends (new parents like the thought of encouraging reading) - these are delightful, attractive, colourful and well priced. They are not very weighty, though, but sufficient for a few kiddy books. Nice thing to have, very pleased.

Good quality and nice finishing book end. It might not hold looks or heavy books, but it worked well to hold about 10-15 my child has.

Beautiful bookends.
The bookends were a present for a new baby girl. I thought they were delightful, and so did the parents of the new arrival. They had to travel from me in the UK to Austria, and they arrived unscathed. I am VERY pleased with the purchase.

Great book ends
These are great to use in our nursery for a few books. They are steady and I love the design. Quick delivery too :)

Cute and toddler resistant
A cute little product, which resisted many attempts from my toddler to liberate the animals. Looks good on the shelf. However, as many have already pointed out, these bookends will not support anything that cannot stand on its own. I supplemented them with simple light-blue bookends (B00K6IRSVA), which have the same color and are nearly invisible. They hold the books, while these bookends are just for decoration.
