I love Hikari products. Quality is excellent. And I love that they use the resealable bags... very convenient, yet cheaper and more environmentally friendly than twist top cans. I usually buy a large bag, then use it to refill my own smaller twist top can for more convenience. My fish are healthy and colorful. And since the food floats, there is less waste getting sucked into my filters or dropping into the gravel. Just be sure you do offer some sinking food for your bottom feeders. I recommend the Hikari Sinking Wafers if you have loaches and other scavengers that may not get enough food otherwise.

Hikari bio Gold keeps the tank sparkling clean. Within 2 minutes the pellets are eaten by the fish. My oscars are showing an enormous growth since they are on this food. Within 1 month they gained 1 1/2 more inches. I feed the fish twice a day.

At my household, we value our fish much more than most people do. In order to keep our finned friends for as long as we can, we try to keep them in the best condition that they can possibly be. The two most important things, in my opinion, that directly influence the length of life your fish will have are nutrition and water quality. My previous Oscar fish, Captain Spaulding, grew to be 14" long and lived to be a happy 13 years old on his diet of Hikari. He was fed the Hikari Cichlid Bio-Gold+, Hikari Cichlid Gold and Hikari Cichlid Staple several times a day. He was a very picky eater, but gladly accepted the Hikari once he was switched to it. His favorite was Hikari Cichlid Gold. Now that Captain has passed away a year ago, we have adopted Sodapop. Sodapop loves to eat! Unfortunately, we have not yet got to try his newest food, the Hikari Cichlid Bio-Cold+, yet, but we are sure that it will help him grow to his full potential and live a very long, happy life! I suggest this food to all cichlid enthusiast that love their pets!

My fish eat this stuff like if there were starving and they just got fed in the morning they love this stuff they Bang on the glass when they see the bag and they want it I would recommend this to any sicklied keeper or anybody that has flower horns like I do and it's really good for their coloring I've used it before and they love it

Tried lots of different fish food. It's the one my frontosa love the most. Will buy again.

Its Expensive but...57 gms is decnt quantity to check how good this product is. Against my better judgement even though its way too costly...if you love your fish then you must continue to feed these type of High quality feed I have one Oscar Juvenile,1 grown bala and 1 Juvenile Bala Shark,1 Adult Iridescent Shark and they all love it only my Pleco has to be given Bloodworms.But I can clearly say quality is way high and this particular flavour is best Hikari bio gold plus mini.

Best food you can get for a flower horn.
