It doesn't get any easier than this. I bought one of these for some outdoor landscape lights and was so happy that I proceeded to buy two more for the additional 12v light zones and an AC version by the same company for some 110v Bistro lights. I use this because each transformer box has a light sensor, so it powers up at night and turns off in the morning. However, I didn't want all the lights to come on (I just wanted wall and path lights to come on automatically, but I wanted to control the tree and downlights manually). By running the wiring for the "manual" lights through this unit, I get the base lighting I want automatically coming on at dusk, and then click the On button on the key fob, and the rest come on when we're out there. In addition, since I can program the units, I can have the same key fob turn both units on and off for the backyard and a separate key fob for the front yard transformer. When I added the 110v bistro lights, I programmed it for that same backyard key fob. There is no clutter or confusion about which key fob is for which unit since I only have to deal with one for all three. A few things I like: 1. It comes with tabs on each side so that you can screw or nail mount it if you wish. Since I was installing it inside a transformer box, I cut those tabs off and used two-sided tape to stick them to the inside wall. 2. Programming is super simple. You press and hold the small program button. The light blinks green. Press the On button on the key fob, the light goes solid, and you press off to complete the process. 3. As mentioned above, I love that one key fob can control multiple units. 4. The range overall is excellent. My farthest unit is about 60 feet away behind a concrete block wall, which is no problem.

I installed this on my gasoline powered rough-terrain scissor lift. It operates the aftermarket fuel pump and two amber beacons (the beacons visually alert me when the fuel pump is running so I don't forget to shut it off). Prior to this I was not able to shut off the fuel pump while working for extended periods of time up on the platform. I could stop the engine, but the fuel pump would continue running and without the engine running the pump gets very hot and will fail prematurely. I would have to leave the engine running which wasted $4/gallon gas. Now, I push the Off button while up on the platform and the fuel pump shuts off, and when I'm ready to move or change elevations I just push the On button and can start the engine right up. This is exactly what I needed. Time will tell if it holds up long term, but so far I'm very impressed! I will follow up in the future with long-term impressions. 07/18/25: Update - this remote control switch continues to impress me as time goes by. It has worked flawlessly every time I've used it. Having one remote control up on the platform and the other near the ground control panel allows me to shut off the fuel pump from either location. The original batteries in the fobs are still going strong, and I like that the fobs have a red led to visually confirm each button press. This is a great product and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase it again.

Simple set up and installation. Will be buying more for other projects. This unit I have set up with exterior work lights and also a 12 volt diagrapham pump on my pressure washing trailer. I work day into the night so it's nice to be able to push 1 button to immediately light up the area around the trailer and to turn on or off the pump at the same time. I installed the control box in a plastic box and installed on the side of the trailer with a hole drilled through the top of the box for the antenna wire to stick out (not really necessary). Great signal from the remote to the control box. A lot of times I turn on/off lights with the provided remote when I am about 150-200+ feet (backyard of customer home) while trailer is parked on the street (front of customers home). NEVER had an issue of no signal, never had to push the button more than 1 time. Wish my RAM 1500 truck remote worked as well as this.

I have this mounted just behind the rear seat of a 4-door Wrangler, wired to juice up a Starlink Mini dish on the roof. I have one remote located next to the switchboard and the other by the driver seat where the light switches are. This lets me toggle my Starlink on and off without having to leave my seat, which is really convenient since I'm lazy. This is an electrical switch, which means it most likely has a little bit of standby/parasitic drain, so I have a breaker-type switch located between it and the battery to leave it at an open-circuit for long-term storage. If you're planning to install this, just spend a few more bucks to install a mechanical/breaker switch to completely open the circuit for long-term storage.

Works great for what I needed. The directions/description state you can use it for home appliances and things. This is kinda misleading as this is for DC (direct current) voltage. Great for something in a car or battery solar system.

I have a Blackvue dashcam installed in my vehicle, along with a Blackvue parking-mode battery. I needed a solution for turning off power to the dashcam when my vehicle was parked at home for long periods. I did not want to repeatedly pull and install the power cord to the dashcam. The 12VDC version of this switch solved the problem. I wired the switch in between the battery and camera. Normally, the switch is powered on, so the dashcam is working while I'm driving and when parked. When I'm at home, I press OFF on the remote and see that the dashcam stops recording. When I leave again, pressing ON restores power to the dashcam. It is simple to install and clearly labeled INPUT + and -, OUTPUT +and -. The instructions are well written and show pictures of how to program the keys to the switch, once installed.

I use this to control a DIY anti-theft system in my vintage VW Bus. The range in an open parking lot is about 100' and works from inside the house so no line of sight needed but less range when going through walls, etc.

Used this to turn on/off a RV water pump and it worked impressively well in the u it we built.

Everything I expected. Easy to install. Works fine every time (only had it working for two weeks). I would order another one if the need arises
